Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Freshman B volleyball team for their win against Ponderosa last night. Great job ladies! Come see the lady lions take on Chaparral next Tuesday at home.

The Varsity Soccer team beat Highlands Ranch 4 to 2 last night. Goals were scored by Andrew Korff, Ben Holzer, Mario Cortez, and Jesus Vilcas.

The JV soccer team defeated Highlands Ranch yesterday 2 to 1. Goals were scored by John Goldstone and Sean Roberts. Assist by Jose Morales.

Congrats to Boy’s Tennis for their triumph over Thunder Ridge yesterday!

Attention all Juniors: There's still time to register for the PSAT in the Counseling Office. Cost is $20.00, cash or check made to LHS. Test date is Wed., Oct. 14 beginning at 7:30 am.

Students not able to attend the Academic Awards ceremony can pick up their awards in the main office.

Northwestern University will visit today in Post Grad at 9:00am.


Special Events:

Our Homecoming Parade will be today starting at 3:00pm along Littleton Blvd. Busses available to bring you back to the school.

StuCo tailgater starts as 5:30 in the athletic parking lot – free food for freshmen – and only $3 for everyone else!

The Homecoming football game tickets for students with an ID are $3 and $5 without an ID, and free if you have an athletic pass marked on your ID.

Homecoming dance tickets are available in the café during lunches. They are $14 per person. Save a buck when you bring in a NEW school item!

Pictures make-ups and retakes are next Monday, September 28 during 3rd block in the theater lobby. If you missed picture day in August you must have your ID picture taken. If you wish to order pictures forms are in the main office.

Key Club is meeting today at 2:20 in room 114. We will be discussing the homecoming parade and will be constructing our signs.

FBLA members will be selling sport backpacks and lanyards during both lunches this week outside of the cafeteria. Bags are $5.00 and the lanyards are $5.00. Show your homecoming spirit and get yours today!

ATTENTION ALL LADY LIONFISH - All prospective swimmers and divers will meet today in the pool area at 2:20 p.m. for an extremely important informational and organizational meeting. Captains for the 2009-2010 season will also be elected at this meeting.

In the post grad center Metropolitan State University will visit today at 11:30am and Northwestern University will visit on Friday, September 25th at 9:00am.

You must have your 2009-2010 school ID to attend the Homecoming Football game and to attend the Homecoming dance. If you do not have a current school ID, new IDs and replacement IDs can be made in the library. Please do not wait until the last minute!

Attention Girls Lacrosse Players: All Freshman and new players are invited to meet on Wednesday, September 23 from 7-9 pm at Heritage in the second floor lecture hall. Any girls interested in playing or finding out more about lacrosse may attend. We will be distributing player registration materials, answering questions and the best part-- introducing players to our head coach, Nikki.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country teams for their efforts at Friday nights' flat and fast Liberty Bell Course. The Boys were lead by senior captain Riley Mulhern, who smashed his previous personal record! The girls were lead by sophomore sensation Bret Mann. Congrats to all those who ran!!

Littleton Lions Football came away with another BIG win over Piedra Vista on Saturday 42-6! Thanks for cheering your Lions onto victory!
