Sports Announcements:

Good Luck to Riley Mulhern tomorrow at the state cross country meet in Fort Collins.

Varsity Boy’s soccer will play at Boulder High School tomorrow at 7:00pm in the first round of State playoffs. Tickets are $5 for general admission and $4 for students. No passes accepted. GO LIONS!

Anyone interested in being a partner for the Unified Lions basketball team, please come to a brief informational meeting Nov. 4th at 2:30 in room 106.

All boys interested in playing basketball this year for Littleton High School must come to a meeting in the forum on Monday, Nov. 2, at 3:30pm. If you are still in fall sports, see Coach Van ASAP to get your handout for the season.


Special Events:

Littleton High School students ONLY: Wear a Halloween costume to the football game on Friday and you can get in for free! You must have your current student ID with you and wear a 'school appropriate' costume. The game begins at 7:00 p.m. @ LPSS. Come on out and watch the show and cheer on our football team!

Do the Thriller Dance on the field with your own LHS “Lion Pride” Marching Band this Friday night at our home football game. Learn the dance moves from any band member or at our after school Thriller dance Rehearsals on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 3 – 3:30pm. Learn the dance and come join the fun on Friday evening at the football game. See Mr. Emmons for details.

Have you ever wondered how you could help someone less fortunate than you? Student Council is selling Halloween-O-Grams today for only ONE DOLLAR! Halloween-O-Grams are messages you send to a friend with a HUUUUGE bag of candy as their present! Just find a Student Council member or see Ms Prestel up in the Social Studies office if you want to help out the Denver Rescue Mission AND send a friend some candy!

Due to our snowy day, the Boys’ Soccer playoff game at Boulder High School stadium has been cancelled. Stay tuned for more information.

GSA meets today in art room 143 after school. GSA is not for everyone, but all people with an open mind are welcome to attend.

Littleton Boys Lacrosse 2009/2010 kickoff meeting is tonight at 7:00pm in the Forum. New players and returning players should attend along with a parent. This is your chance to meet the coaches and get information for the upcoming season as well as Novemberfest information.

The Boys’ Soccer Team has made the playoffs! We got seeded #19 and have a challenging, but winnable matchup with Boulder High School Wednesday at 7 pm. Come out to Boulder High School stadium and support our program, as we need some noise on our side. Good job to the boys’ team for making the playoffs, our work is not done yet. General admission is $5 and $4 for students. No passes accepted.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107. Please use the forum entrance.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to Riley Mulhern for qualifying for State Cross Country!!

Congratulations to the Freshman A and Varsity Lady Lions for their last regular season victory over the Heritage Eagles last Thursday night. Thank you for the GREAT fan support…that helped with the incredible energy of the night! The 2009 varsity squad triumphed over the Eagles for first time in 8 years! Congratulations ladies! Good luck as you prepare for districts next week.

LHS will be hosting an In-State College Night tonight from 6:00-7:30 pm in the cafeteria. Over 40 schools in Colorado will be represented. All seniors are encouraged to attend. If you have questions, please stop by the counseling office. There will also be a financial aid session beginning at 5:30 pm in Room 133E.
