Student Recognition & Congratulations:

The LHS Lady Lionfish defeated Mountain Vista yesterday, 126-70, winning 11 of the 12 events. GO LIONS!!! Next up will be Heritage next Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in the LHS pool.


Club Announcements:

There is a speech and debate meeting today after school at 2:30 in room 114


Sports Announcements:

Any athlete interested in trying out for the 2010-2011 cheer squads, there will be a brief, but important informational meeting on Tuesday, January 12 at 2:20 in the forum. Plan on attending. For more information, please see Coach DeAnna Koepke.


Academic Announcements:

PLAN TESTS: Students who took the PLAN test can pick up their results on Monday, Jan. 11 at 2:20 in Room 103. Students should plan to stay for a very short review.

PSAT Results: Students who took the PSAT should pick up their results in the Counseling Office.


Other Announcements:

Seniors: Beginning next week, your mid-year transcripts will automatically be sent of all out-of-state colleges to which you applied as well as Colorado College, University of Denver, School of Mines, and Regis. If you applied to other in-state schools and want your mid-year transcript sent, please see Mrs. Inbody in the counseling office.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Basketball team for their victory over Denver South HS last night 56-30! AND to the Boys Varsity Basketball team for their awesome victory 55-51! GO LIONS!!!

There will be a Peace Jam Club meeting in room 206 between 2:20 and 2:50 today. All who are interested in international issues and activism are welcome!"

All baseball players not involved in a winter sport should attend the following: January 5th & 7th 2:24 – 3:45 in room 133, Pitcher Conditioning at 6:15 AM starting Wednesday January 6th and prearranged with Coach Vanoni. All those intend on playing (9th -12th grade) must see Coach Vanoni this week to confirm interest in participating.
