Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Soccer team for their win over Evergreen last night 3-2! Way to go Lions!

The boys level C Lacrosse team shut out Smoky Hill 3 to 0 yesterday. Goals were scored by Riley Herges, Wes Medford, and Stephen McDavid.


Sports Announcements:

Tryouts for the 2010-2011 LHS Cheer squads begin Monday, March 15. They will be held from 4:30 - 6:30 in the South Gym, all week. Hope to see you there!


Academic Announcements:

AP registration is due today by 3:00 pm in the counseling office. Late fees for registration start on Monday, March 15.

All juniors and seniors interested in earning college credit while attending high school must see Ms. Geyer in the Counseling Office – the due date of application is next Tuesday March 16, 2010.

ONE MORE CHANCE!! Can you feel the THUNDER! Can you believe the ACTION! IT’s the Colorado Mammoth Lacrosse Team!! Don’t forget students, there is a LHS Fundraiser night on Sat. at 7pm to benefit the Musana Orphanage in Uganda. Come on out to the game for only 10 bucks!! Just grab a flyer from the main office and go to the online address and buy your tickets—then the money will go towards Musana. Thanks!! Hope to see you there!

Prom Dresses! Dressed to the Nines in Denver is an organization that provides Prom Dresses for $15.00!!!! The event to shop is tomorrow March 13th between 10-3pm at McMeen Elementary School in Denver!!! If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Geyer in the Counseling Office.

Colorguard clinics will begin Wed march 17th from 3-4 pm on the front lawn. Any one interested please contact Lori Nichol at 720-629-1424 or Don Emmons in the band room.

The Peace Jam and International Affairs Club will meet at 2:20 in room 206. Anyone with an interest in International and Human Rights Issues is welcome.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

The Varsity Baseball Team defeated Hinckley HS yesterday by the score of 12 to 0. Kevin Farley led the way with a no-hitter and 10 strikeouts in 5 innings of play. Offensively, the team was led by Dane Donegan, Kyle McCaslin, and Noah Gaumer. Great job men!

The JV baseball team came out swinging to beat Hinckley 25 to 4 yesterday....led by a great pitching outing by Chris Juracek and Patrick Fry.

Take me out to the ball game - The Lions play Kennedy tomorrow and Overland on Friday. See you there!

Juniors - you MUST sign-up in the Counseling office to take the spring swim proficiency test to be held Tues., March 9 at either 8:00 am or 9:30 am. Sessions are limited to the first 30 students.
