STUDENT BULLETIN

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the new Student Council Officers for the Class of 2014! Class President--Hailey Mellen, Class Vice President Kaitlyn Hicks and Class Public Relations Officer Jarod Todeschi. Way to go folks--your speeches were awesome and your enthusiasm great!


Club Announcements:

Balance club will be doing yoga Monday from 2:30-3:00. So, wear comfortable clothes and come to the theater lobby after school .

The LHS Rasta Lions Ultimate Frisbee team will scrimmage Heritage today at Writer's Vista Park. Game starts at 3 and the park is on Mineral east of Jackass Hill Road and west of Broadway along the Highline Canal. See ya out there!

The Rasta Lions Ultimate Frisbee team will be playing CIVA from Colorado Springs Monday at 3:30. So, bring your Lion pride and come down to the grass practice filed to cheer for your team!

LPS Swim Waiver Test dates are posted on the LHS website under For students. Students are who think they would like to take the test are encouraged to check the website for dates and specific information.

HEY LIONS!! Do you love Littleton? Are you really involved and enthusiastic? Apply to be a Student Ambassador tour guide. Pick up an application in the counseling department and return it by Sept. 13. See Mrs. Stulock for details.

Homecoming Guest forms are available and that they need to be turned in o Student Services by Thursday, September 23rd.

Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team. The 5 - 1 Lions beat Ponderosa 6-1 last night, and are headed to Grand Junction for a weekend tournament with some of the best teams in the state. Good Luck!!

FBLA Meeting TODAY! Come to room 124 today, Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2:20 pm. Help us plan for our homecoming parade entry! See you then!

Then on Friday the 10th, wear your class shirt and get a chance to win some SPIRIT BUCKS!!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congrats to our LHS Volleyball teams who swept Thornton High School in their opening matches Friday night in Thornton! All four levels, Freshman, Sophomore, JV, and Varsity teams went home with victories! Congratulations ladies! Come support the Lions when they open up at home this Thursday, September 9th as they host Stanley Lake High School.

The varsity boy’s soccer team defeated Dakota Ridge 3-0 and JV team beat Dakota Ridge 8-3 last night. Go LIONS!

Congratulations to the boy’s tennis team on their 7-0 thrashing of Douglas County. The team is now 4 - 1 for the year. Come see the lion net-sters play rival Ponderosa after school today.

ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN who are interested in being an officer in Student Council! If you are running for an office and do not turn in your packets by 3:30 Wednesday afternoon (that’s TODAY), you WILL NOT be on the ballot!! Please turn your packets in ASAP to Ms Prestel in the Social Studies office!! The speeches and election will take place the following day on Thursday the 9th. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK!
