Attention All Bus riders: Buses will be picking up students on Final Exam week Tuesday-Friday for departure at 11:30am.

Way to go LHS girl’s basketball players! Last night all three teams gave a great effort and beat Hinckley High School! Good luck Saturday at Thornton!

Club Announcements:

Littleton high school you need to pat yourselves on the back!! You have exceeded Student Council’s expectations with the Coat drive and the Giving Snowman!! We have had to empty the coat boxes TWICE and it is not even over yet!! And, the Giving Snowman was all out of Snowflakes as of MONDAY! How awesome is all that! Don’t forget though, there is still time to get your coats here; the drive goes until Friday Dec. 17th. And for all of you who DID get a snowflake, please get those presents up to Ms. Prestel’s office by Friday Dec. 17th also! Way to go Lions!!

Attention all Student Council Officers and Ambassadors—please remember to let Hannah Grossman or Ms Prestel know your preferred date for our Littleton Student Council Leadership Retreat in Jan. You can text either of them, or email Ms Prestel; and of course you could tell them in person too! Let us know by early next week at the latest! Thanks!

All are welcome to come hear a guest speaker discussing cyber bullying TODAY in the forum at 2:30 sponsored by the Political committee.

Congratulations to Mrs. Connie Martin and Meghan Hobbs for winning the Green Club shoe drive raffle. Thanks to everyone who donated approximately 120 pairs of used shoes (especially the Puchino family!). These shoes will make many, many shoeless people very happy.

Come to the Varsity BB game tonight then head over to the Broadway & Belleview Qdoba after 9:00pm for a 5th Quarter Party. Qdoba is open late tonight only and just for LHS. All fans will receive a $5 Meal Deal – any entrée and regular fountain drink for just $5. This is only available for LHS fans, so get there and celebrate with the Varsity BB team

Two chances for you to get into the holiday spirit! Give the gift of a warm winter to someone. COATS FOR COLORADO boxes are in the library!! Drop off your “gently” used coats in the Library now through Dec. 17th.

Let a child at the Musana Orphanage in Uganda know they have a friend in Colorado! The GIVING SNOWMAN can be found in the senior hallway!! You just need to pick a Snow Flake off the snowman, purchase the item(s) on the flake and bring your gifts to Ms. Prestel in social Studies by Dec, 17th.

Qdoba is hosting a 5th Quarter Party on Thursday night after the Varsity BB game. Stop in after 9:00pm at the Broadway 7 Belleview Qdoba to hang out with the Varsity BB team and get any entrée and regular drink for just $5! This special is only available for all LHS student fans, friends and family. Show you school spirit by hanging out with the team after the game tomorrow night.

Please bring a printed copy of their schedule when making an adjustment and can only come during their off period. See counseling for details.

ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN AND ADVISEMENT LEADERS—there will be advisement this week, I repeat—there will be advisement this week!

PLAN test results will be distributed on Thurs., Dec. 9, at 2:30 pm in Room 103. Students should plan to stay for approximately 10 minutes while Mr. Powers explains the test results.

Seniors: If you have a Jan. 1 college deadline you MUST make sure all your transcript requests are completed in Naviance and paid for in the Counseling Office no later than 3 pm on by Wed., Dec. 8.

Take a break from preparing for finals and enjoy some great music at the Choir Winter Concerts TODAY at 5 and 7 p.m., and the Instrumental Winter Concert on Thursday, December 9th, at 7 p.m.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the girl’s varsity basketball team for their big win at Chatfield on Friday night! Our ladies had a great team effort to come back in the second half and win 44-41. Come out and support the Lions Tuesday night as they take on Smoky Hill and Wednesday night against Columbine.

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity Boy’s BB team for their win over Thornton HS on Saturday night! Way to go Lions!!

The LHS Lady Lionfish finished 5th in both the varsity and JV divisions of the Arapahoe Relays Invitational held last Saturday. The Lady Fish will compete next against Chaparral this Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in the LHS pool.

Congratulations to the following students who competed in the Finals at this weekend's Speech and Debate tournament at Chatfield High School: Tres Pittman and Daniel Thomas took 1st place in CX, Tori Sisk took 1st place in Drama Interpretation, Megan Irvine took 1st place in Poetry Interpretation, Ben Fisk took 1st place in Humor Interpretation, Melissa Timmermeyer took 3rd place in Poetry Interpretation, Ryan Dineen took 4th place in Humor Interpretation, and Hanna Le took 6th place in Original Oratory. And congratulations to the whole team for your enthusiasm, support of one another, and fine performances in all events.
