Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the girls JV tennis team on their 9-1 victory against ThunderRidge yesterday and who fought valiantly but lost 8 – 7 in a tough match Wednesday in cyclone-like conditions at Legend. Start your prom weekend celebration by supporting the girls at their tennis match today vs. Chaparral.
Way to go, girls!!

Come root on the Lions Boys’ Lacrosse Varsity team as they play in the Littleton Cup this weekend with Heritage, Columbine & Chatfield. Friday night's doubleheader will feature Littleton vs. Heritage at 4pm at Trailblazer Stadium followed by Columbine vs. Chatfield. Saturday will have the winners and losers of Friday's games each playing a game at Invesco field, followed by a DII college game. Tickets to the Invesco games are available from Littleton LAX players for $10

Don’t forget to get your Prom tickets early if you don’t want to stand in line at the door—they will be on sale today in the cafeteria!! Don’t forget to bring your Student ID to the dance—VERY, VERY IMPORTANT—or if no school ID, you will need a picture ID so we can match it to the class lists!

Attention JUNIORS—if you have not bought a ticket during lunch with an official Student Council representative, then you will have to pay at the door of Prom. We will NOT ACCEPT any tickets sold to you by a LHS Student outside of school or not during lunches.

After Prom at Fun City is tomorrow night starting at 11:30 pm! Prom attendance is NOT required. RSVP today during lunches outside the cafĂ© OR after school in the front lobby by paying your $10. If you’re still thinking about it OR forgot your money, plan on paying at the door. Come to the main entrance of Fun City on the EAST SIDE of the building at Coal Mine and Wadsworth. Don’t miss out on the fun! Come celebrate the year with your friends!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Boys track team for the outstanding effort on Saturday at the Mt. Sac invite. Highlights include Jonathan Edmunds placing 2nd in the triple jump and 4th in the long jump, and to the new school record holders in the Distance Medley Relay by Garrett Sapakoff, Jacob Tharan, Michael Arterburn, and Calvin Maas.

Congratulations to the Girls track team for their unbelievable effort on Friday and Saturday at the Mt. Sac Invite. On Friday night the 4x800m relay placed second in a field of nationally ranked teams, the team was made up of Kaela Edwards, Grace Britan, Iris Hardarson and Rosa Hardarson. On Saturday, Kaela Edwards won the invitational 800 and the 4x400m team made up of Kaela Edwards, Grace Britan, Iris Hardarson and Dana Gaetani ran for a season best and a state record breaking time!

C team boys lacrosse - After defeating Chaparral Friday night, the C team Lions kept their momentum going and were able to defeat 2 out of the 3 teams in the Mountain Vista lacrosse tournament; including a 4-3 victory over Grandview in overtime. Lions look to keep the win steak alive versus Denver East Monday night! Good luck, guys!

Congratulation to the Varsity boy’s lacrosse for their 6-4 win over Steamboat Friday night. Thank you to all the fans that came out to support the game.

Attention all Student Council officers, ambassadors and General Council members! We have a SUPER, UNBELEIVABLY important Student Council General Council meeting today in the forum starting at 2:20!! PLEASE make sure you are there! We need to talk about all our fun events for the end of the year! As always, we will be done in time for you to get to your sports practices. See you there!

Hip Hop Club is sponsoring a dance contest and the winners get a special spotlight in our prom assembly performance. Contest will be held in the forum at 2:30 tomorrow. Don't be shy, come on down to show us your skills!

Come stop by Zumba this Monday in the cafeteria after school for a workout unlike any other!
