Academic Announcements:

Winners of the Art Foundations Mandala contest will be announced today during our short break. Come to the main lobby at 10:45 to hear the news!

Club Announcements:

Lions Follies is the Student Council sponsored Variety Show here at LHS and we WANT YOU TO PARTICIPATE!! Get your best buddies together, think of a fun or very talented act and sign up to audition the week of OCT. 24-28th. We have sign up sheets in the Theater Hallway and the Library! Last year we had a record number of acts sign up, so sign up early and practice, practice, practice!!

Sports Announcements:


All LHS merchandise will be 50% off at Friday’s home football game against Legend. Come cheer on your Lion Pride football team in a new sweatshirt!!

Special Events:

It’s time for the fall show! Come by the box office during your lunch to get your tickets for Noises Off. A funny farce for the whole family which includes slamming doors, dropped drawers and many plates of sardines. Tickets are $5.00 for students and $7.00 for adults, performances will be Thursday, October 20th at 6 pm, Friday, October 21st at 7pm and Saturday October 22nd at 6pm!

Who wants $1000? Littleton High School has the opportunity to win this on October 23!!! Get registered for The Stride! Get your friends and neighbors to register! Get out there and run, and plan on having a great time! Don't forget to wear your purple and gold! Registration forms are in the front office, and can be downloaded from the link on LHS website. GO LIONS!

Seniors: Jostens will be here today from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to take more orders in the senior hall.

Stay cool while waiting in line to see your teachers. Yogo Mojo will be selling their frozen yogurt in the cafe tonight at the parent-teacher conferences. A portion of the proceeds will go towards this year's After-Prom party. So come and support this wonderful event and get something yummy for your tummy! Remember to bring cash to pay for the yogurt.

A Big Thanks to our PTO and all the generous parents that helped with donations at our Back-to-School fundraiser. The money that was raised has helped with the purchase of new teak benches for the West Entrance Foyer, as well as new seating in our courtyard! Thanks to our wonderful Littleton High School community for their support!!!

Academic Announcements:

Invisible Children will be in the LHS Forum tomorrow Periods 3, 4, 5 & 6. Come and learn about the people of Uganda and their recovery from Africa’s longest running civil war.

PSAT: students who have signed up to take the PSAT, reminder to be in the South Gym by 7:20 am tomorrow. In addition to two, #2 pencils and an appropriate calculator, students MUST bring their school student ID. Stop by the library if you need a new ID! No cell phones are allowed in testing! Thank you!

Get in on the action and during Littleton’s College Days and sign up to visit with more than 40 college representatives coming to our school today and tomorrow in the Counseling office. Make sure to sign up in advance on Naviance and get a hall pass to attend.

Come and audition for Goodstock, a benefit concert on October 28th, in the LHS Theater, to help raise money for ChildFund and One.org. These organizations help fight worldwide famine and poverty. Auditions for the concert will be held on October 11 and 12 in the Choir room at 3:15pm. Sign up sheets will be posted outside the Choir Room and in the Library starting yesterday. Hope to see you and your music talents there!

Please remember to move your cars out of the Main Front lot and the Forum lot today after school as soon as possible. We will be hosting the Metro Regional Marching Band Qualifying event that is the first round of the State Marching Band competition. Our parking lots will gradually fill to capacity this afternoon and any help you can give us by moving your car as soon as possible today after school will be greatly appreciated.
