Club Announcements:

FBLA members…our next meeting will be Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 2:20 pm in room 124. We will begin discussing our district competition and the Arapahoe Santa Claus Shop. See you then.

Lion's Follies Acts: Please check the line up sheet posted on the theater board. Act 1 has rehearsal Monday after school 3 -5. Act 2 has rehearsal Tuesday after school. Thursday is the full dress rehearsal 6 -9 pm. The show is Friday and Saturday nights.

Sports Announcements:

International Week Soccer! The annual co-ed 4v4 soccer tournament is on Monday November 14 in the stadium. If you want to register a team, you must have at least 2 boys and 2 girls in a squad on no more than 6 players. Sign up and collect the information from Coach Banfield on Monday November 7th after school in his office in the North Gym.

All players interested in Unified Basketball please come to an informational meeting NOV 8 @2:30 room 105

Hey Students, have you ever wanted to attend a Colorado Avalanche game with all your friends and family? Well, now is your chance. Join your fellow classmates and teachers from Littleton High School on Sunday, November 20th for Littleton Public Schools Community Night as the Colorado Avalanche take on the San Jose Sharks! You may even be picked to ride on the Zambonie! For every ticket we sell, our PTO gets $2! That can add up to be a lot of money for our school. Look for more information on the LHS web site.

FBLA members attending the Stock Market Challenge IS tomorrow. Don’t forget to turn in your permission slips to Mrs. Martin or you will not be able to attend. We will be leaving by 10:30 am from the cafeteria entrance. Be there or you will be left behind!

Open gyms for girls basketball continues tonight from 5:45-8:00. In addition, preseason basketball camp begins next Monday from 3:00-5:00 and continues through the week. All girls who intend to try-out are strongly encouraged to attend! Tryouts then begin next Friday the 11th! See you there!

Swim Test at LHS open to ALL LPS students, Wed., Nov. 9 or Thurs., Nov. 10, 2:30 pm sharp, dressed and ready to swim. Sign up in the Counseling Office to receive the skills criteria.

This includes requesting transcripts at least TEN SCHOOL DAYS before the college's deadline. Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to Annika Hacker, Matt Radi, Garrett Sapakoff, Kelly Dinneen, and Hoang Dinh for being named Littleton High School Athletes of the Month for the month of October. Way to go Lions!!

The Goodstock Club pulled off an amazing benefit concert on Friday night, with over 400 people in the audience, and $2,440.00 raised for One.org and ChildFund. Thanks to everyone who helped spread the word and worked behind the scenes. Thanks to all of the talented performers as well! It was a night to remember!
