Academic Announcements:

Attention IB students: The IB Parent Organization meeting for Monday, February 6 is all about CAS. A panel of seniors will discuss their CAS activities and projects. It's a great way to get ideas for your CAS requirements. 7pm in the Library on Monday, February 6.

Let The Lions' Roar help you direct Cupid's arrow; buy a Cupid's Classified ad for $1 or $2 and it will be printed in the Valentine's Day edition of the paper. Sales will be held during lunches outside the cafeteria. Get yours today!

Hello TSA members, we have a mandatory meeting today after school in the Tech lab. If you are going to state then you are going to this meeting. Be there or you must see Mrs. Wilkins! Remember! TSA, Thursday, Tech Lab 2:20 pm.

Come and cheer on our Lion Wrestling team tonight against the Rock Canyon Jaguars on their home turf at 5:30pm – Hope to see you there!

Attention all LHS girl soccer players. There will be a short meeting today right after school in room 133E. You will receive information on training and tryouts. If you cannot attend, see coach Banfield as soon as possible.

This is a reminder to all Boy Swimmers, preseason workouts begin next Monday morning Feb. 6th. We will have a brief meeting today in room 134E at 2:20 to touch base on the necessities. Remember nobody can get in the water without the required paperwork. If you have any questions, please see Coach Foto or Coach Chandler.

Attention all boy lacrosse players: Anyone interested in playing LHS lacrosse in the spring needs to attend the Player/Parent meeting on Tuesday evening, February 7th at 7PM in the LHS Forum. You will receive very important registration and tryout information. We are anticipating another awesome LAX year and you don't want to miss out!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congrats to the LHS Speech and Debate team who took 5th out of 34 schools at the SunBlazer tournament. Seven individuals finished in the top 5, led by Tres Pittman, Daniel Thomas, Leslie Stutheit, Maddie Chandler, Hannah Poe and Nick Ditter. Ben Fisk was the Tournament Champion in Interpretation of Humor.

Academic Announcements:

Attention Juniors with last names A-L! Mandatory Junior Advisement and class registration for next year will take place tomorrow morning between 7:20 and 8:51. See counseling office with questions!

The Unified basketball team lost in a nail biter to Heritage last night. Thank you to all of the students who cheered us on, and to the cheer and poms squads. Next up is Mountain Vista Monday Feb. 6th at home for Senior Night.

We hope to see you at the Girls Varsity Basketball game on the LHS court tonight at 7:00pm as they take on the Douglas County Huskies or you can catch the Boys Varsity BB game at Douglas County HS in Castle Rock – Go LIONS!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to our Littleton wrestling team this weekend at Douglas County tournament with James McNally taking 2nd place. Way to go LIONS!!

Congratulations to those Lady Lionfish who placed top 6 at the Continental C-League and B-League meets held last Friday and Saturday. Congratulations to all those who participated!
Those placing top 6 at C-League were:
Astrida Knutson - 5th (500 free)
Ilsa Knutson, Beatrice Morea, Mimi Hibben, & Katherine Hays - 5th (400 free relay)
Those placing top 6 at B-League were:
Caitlin Durston - 1st (diving)
Mariah Salas - 2nd (diving)
The following 2 divers surpassed the B-League point total and qualified for next week's A-League meet: Sarelle Schultheis and Kelly Lynch

Attention Juniors! Mandatory Junior Advisement and registration for classes for next year will take place for last names beginning with letters A-L on this Wednesday between 7:20 and 8:51. Sorry...No sleeping in on THIS late start Wednesday for you! And for juniors whose last names begin with letters M-Z, your turn is coming up on the next late start Wednesday, February 15th. Remember, these sessions are required in order for you to register for classes for next year.
