Student Recognition & Congratulations:


The LHS Lady Lionfish ran their dual meet record to 3-0 with a 97-88 victory over Ponderosa yesterday in our pool.  The Lady Fish JV also won their meet against the Mustangs, 125-42.  The next home meet will be against a strong Mountain Vista team next Thursday, Dec. 20, at 4:00 p.m.

Academic Announcements:

Students can pick up their PLAN and/or PSAT test results in the Counseling Office.  Please note you are only able to pick up your own test packets.

Attention all Student Council officers and Ambassadors--if you are planning on going to the Tri-School Leadership Conference, please see Ms Prestel ASAP!!!  You have some paperwork to fill out and agenda to pick up!  Please do this BEFORE you go away for break. Thanks

A HUGE thank you goes out to everyone who took a snowflake off of the Giving Snowman--they are all gone!  Don’t forget to get out there and buy your gift and bring it up to Ms Prestel's desk in the Social Studies office by December 21st.  They can be wrapped or not, and please include the snowflake or a piece of paper with your kid's age and gender.  Once again you've proven LHS, that you are the best givers in town!

The “Pledge Drive” continues!  This is a friendly reminder to all the families with students in a Winter Sport don’t forget to pledge your support for your athlete.  If you have misplace your Pledge Drive Form it is located on the home page of littletonlions.net.  


“Special FebruaryFest announcement “Live Auction” items are rolling in.  Back by popular demand is the very popular “2013 Graduation Seating Package”.  The evening promises to be a great time to catch up with all the LHS families and coaches so mark your calendars… Friday evening, February 1, 2013, from 6:00 to closing.  


Remember to bring your food items for the Basketball holiday food drive. Food Donation Cans that have been placed at the school's main entrance, athletic entrance and Forum entrance and will also be at all the home basketball games throughout December 2012.  All donations will go to the holiday food baskets that are being arranged by the LHS Counseling office to help LHS Families this holiday season.  Any item brought to the home basketball games will get you $1.00 off your admission to the game.  Go Lions!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:


Congratulations to the Varsity Boys basketball team for their win over Palmer High School last night.  Littleton came out with a win by the score of 61 to 50. This game was a team win with outstanding defense setting the tone for the contest.  All three levels travel to Hinkley HS for our next set of games on Friday.  Way to go LIONS!!

Congratulations to the Girls basketball team for their win over Aurora Central HS last night with the score 74-24.  Laura Puchino and Elsie Mangum both had a double-double and Kate Winslow finished off the night with 10 block shots.  Way to go LIONS!

A limited supply of books will be available in the spring on a first come, first served basis. Order now, so you guarantee that you get a yearbook!!

Parking permits are now available to all licensed sophomores for the rest of the 2012-13 school year.  The cost will be $25.00 and may be purchased from the bookkeeper.

Come to Key Club tomorrow in room 126 right after school! We will be assembling the holiday food baskets! Be sure to bring a can of evaporated milk and wear your Key Club t-shirt! See you Thursday!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:


A big congratulations to the Boys Basketball Varsity team for their  spectacular come from behind win by the score of 52 – 51 against Green Mountain HS.  This was a signature team win for this program.  We travel to Palmer High School in Colorado Springs on Wednesday.  Way to go, Lions!

Academic Announcements:

Students who took the PSAT, Practice SAT, can pick up their results today at 2:30 in Room 103.  Please plan to stay for a few minutes while Mrs. Gobble reviews how to interpret your results. 

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:


Please join us in congratulating the LHS Speech and Debate team for their stellar performance at the Winter Wonder tournament last Saturday at Cherry Creek.  Tom Sehon was undefeated on Saturday in Lincoln Douglas debate, and took home 4th place overall.  Tom is on a 7 debate win streak over two weeks.  Also, the following students won superior awards at the tournament -

-   Kit Kilroy & Ryan Famiglietti's team in Cross Examination debate
-   Maddie Chandler in Lincoln Douglas debate
-   In Public Forum debate, the teams of Hannah Poe & Nick Ditter, Lauren Sehgal & Samantha Leach, and Shannon Sankey & Katherine Hayes.
-   Brett Maney in Oratory
-   Lucy Haggard and Stephanie Kern-Allely in Poetry Interpretation
-   Stephanie again for impromptu speaking.
