Coats for Colorado has come to Littleton.  Please bring in your "gently" used coats and jackets for Student Council's program to get coats to those less fortunate.  There are bins in the main lobby, main office, counseling office, library and business office.  The program goes until Nov. 28th.  Thanks!

Academic Announcements:

An admissions rep from Texas Tech University will be here today to meet with students in the Counseling office at 10.  On Monday, a rep from CSU-Pueblo will meet with students in Post Grad at 9.  Sign up on Naviance and come to the Post Grad Center if you need a note from class.

Attention Seniors - a swim waiver test date is scheduled for Tuesday, November 11th right after school.   Seniors must sign up in the Counseling office.

Club Announcements:

DECA and FBLA members who are attending the Stock Market Challenge TODAY, we will be meeting at 10:30 am at the Athletic entrance immediately after 4th period. Don't forget your permission slip!

Preseason Camp for Girls Basketball continues TONIGHT from 3:00-5:00 in the North gym.  This is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your skills, get in basketball shape, and get ready for tryouts which begin next Wednesday.  See you tonight!

Girl’s Lacrosse:  The Heritage-Littleton girls’ lacrosse club will be holding a general information meeting on November 13th at 7pm in the Forum. We will discuss the upcoming 2015 spring season including fees, fundraising, and tryout dates.  We are actively looking for new players! If interested in learning about our no-cut sport, please visit our website, attend the informational meeting or contact Susan Tilton at bum5280@aol.com.

Lions Follies.  Are you looking for a way to share your talent?  Try out for the Lions Follies Talent Show.  Tryouts will be held on November 10th and 11th from 3:10 to 5:45, and you can sign up for a tryout time on the bulletin board in the art hallway.  You will have 3-5 minutes for your audition time, and we welcome all types of talent and skills, including MC tryouts.  The Lions Follies show will be on December 5th and 6th.  See Sam or Elisabeth Sanson, or Mr. Saliman for more details.

Students – do you have a computer? If you do not have a computer at home, we have free computers for you. These are refurbished desktop computers, not laptops. They use the XP operating system and are loaded with Open Office; please see Mr. Hahn in the counseling office to receive a voucher for a free computer and/or more information.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

Academic Announcements: 

Attention 9th graders who signed up for the challenge course: you will receive a reminder this morning.  Make sure you read it as it has your schedule of when you are attending the course -either Tuesday or Thursday.  Make sure you bring warm clothes and meet in the cafeteria at 7:20 on the appropriate day.  Please go to student services with questions.

Attention all Freshmen!  There is only ONE day of Advisement and Math Methods this week this week; Monday for the odd classes and Friday for even classes.  There will be NO Advisement or Math Methods for the days of testing.

A college representative from Western State Colorado University will meet with interested juniors and seniors on TODAY at 10am in the Counseling office.

Student Recognition & Congratulations: 

Congratulations to Maddie Chandler, who led the LHS Speech and Debate Team at their first tournament this past Saturday at the Cherry Creek Invitational.  Maddie finished an undefeated 4-0, finishing 2nd out of 47 Lincoln-Douglas debaters.

Congratulations to the winners of the Costume Contest:  Scariest:  Elisabeth and Samantha Sanson, Cutest:  Maddie Fuchs, Creative: Alex Kirby and Best Group: the Mario Cart Crew. Way to go with your LIONS SPIRIT!

Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team who competed in Regional play on Saturday. The Lions beat Falcon High School in their opening match of the day when they defeated them in a five set match. Littleton finished 2nd at the tournament to Ponderosa High School. Congratulations ladies on a successful season!
