Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulation to the Lady Lions swim team for doing a remarkable job at yesterday’s meet.  Special congratulations to Megan Sanders for qualifying for state in the 100 butterfly. Way to go ladies!

Special Events:

The SWAG girls are bringing back a fun tradition here at LHS-Sr. boys versus Sr. girls competitions! Years ago when SWAG began, the girls challenged the boys all year to a series of competitions with the final event being the lovely "fashion" show in April with the boys. So, TODAY is the first challenge--a Hula Hoop Contest in the main lobby afterschool, so come one and come all SENIORS to check it out and hopefully compete!

Attention Seniors!  Stop by the senior hallway this week and check out your senior photos.  This is the photo we will be using for the yearbook.  You have this week only to make changes.  After that, they go to the printer and it will be too late.  See Ms. Fisher with any concerns.

Attention Students!  The final day to purchase a yearbook is rapidly approaching!  We will have a limited number of books for sale at the end of the year, but once they are gone they are gone- so you will want to consider pre-purchasing.  The deadline to pre-purchase a yearbook is January 26.

Littleton High School is hosting our first "Hour of Code" event on Wednesday, January 28th right after school in the cafeteria from 2:30-4:30.  We'll have food, music, fun and you can prove to yourself that YOU CAN WRITE COMPUTER CODE...and have magical powers too!  Go to the LHS homepage to sign up.

LHS Winter Dance is Saturday, January 31st.  Guest forms are available at student services and in the main office.  Forms are due January 29th by noon.

Girls tennis has an informational meeting on Thursday, in room 143 in the art hallway after school at 2:20.

Heritage-Littleton girls’ lacrosse has a parent/player meeting 7:00pm on Thursday January 15th in the 2nd floor lecture hall at Heritage High School.

Special Events:

LHS Welcomes Costa Rican Exchange Students -The World Language Department, LHS students and their families are hosting 22 students and 3 teachers from our "sister school" in Cartago, Costa Rica for the next two weeks. They will be meeting in the cafeteria each morning before heading out on field trips during the school day, and will be in the building all day interacting with Spanish classes on Thursday the 15th and Friday the 16th.

Today is an ODD Period Day – 1.3.5.7.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to Kelly Steinberg, who placed 6th in Humor at Saturday's 37 school George Washington speech and debate tournament.

The Littleton High School wrestling team had a great day on the mat Saturday at the Westminster Varsity Invitational taking 4th place as a team.  Aron PinoValenzuela took 1st at 285, Scott Corwin at 145 and Gerard Ruybal at 170 both took 2nd place.  Poe Di at 126 and Greg Kennedy at 160 both took 3rd place.  Jonathon Barron at 138 took 4th place.

Congratulations to the Lady Lions Swim and Dive team on their defeat against D'evelyn and Green Mountain on Saturday moving their record to 6-1.  Way to go ladies!!!

Please plan to attend.  This meeting will cover final details on our budget, registration process, player fees, and important tryout information. Coach, Tyler Snyder will be having a separate coach/player meeting at some point prior to tryouts.  We are actively looking for new players!
