Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to all 3 girls basketball teams who earned victories over Wheat Ridge last night!  Our varsity girls have won 5 games in a row and are now 12-4 on the season.  Please come out to support the girls tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 as they take on conference foe, Evergreen in a big game.  Help us pack the gym to support our Lions!

Special Events:

The Winter Dance Pep Assembly is TODAY!  If you still need to pick up a class T-shirt, they will be available next to the DECA store in the cafeteria before school begins 6:45-7:10am.  Show your school spirit!!

Students, keep your eyes open as you go through the school.  The Art Photography Students have hidden miniature photos around the school as part of an interactive art installation.  If you are able to locate 5 unique photo trading cards, bring them to Mr. Pung's room (Room 145) for a prize! Good luck!

Sports Announcements:

All girls interested in playing golf this spring need to attend a brief meeting after school TODAY in room 200.  Those unable to attend please see Coach Burdick.

There is an important Track and Field meeting next Tuesday, February 3rd at 2:30 in room 133e. Please see Coach Koepke with questions.

Attention all Student Council Officers, Ambassadors and General Council members, we have our FIRST General Council meeting of the new year on Monday Feb. 2!  Please plan on being there!! Juniors & Seniors – the LHS SWIM TEST is Thursday, February 12, 2015 after school (you will need to be dressed and ready to swim at 2:30 sharp)! Sign-up in the LHS Counseling Office beginning Monday, February 2nd.

Athletes - Spring Sports Registration is now open. Avoid the delays and headaches in waiting until the last minute to receive your clearing card to participate in a sport.  Register now on the LHS Athletic Website at www.littletonlions.net . Check under "Registration Info" for assistance. Students will need to turn in a current Physical Form, if one is not already on file with the Athletic Department, and the Permission for Use of Private Vehicle must also be completed and turned in.

This is Spirit Week - TODAY is Villian day and tomorrow is Hero day.  Wear your class T-shirt on Friday for Spirit day and the pep assembly. The Winter dance is Saturday evening. Tickets go on sale now.  Guest forms are due on Thursday.

Sports Announcements:

Any girls wishing to play soccer in the spring should attend a meeting TODAY right after school in room 133E.

Boys Lacrosse - if you are planning to play lacrosse this spring, you and your parent need to attend a meeting TODAY 6 pm in the Forum.  See you there.

There is a team meeting for all boys interested in Boys Swim this year on Thursday, January 29 at 2:30 pm in Room 133E.

Club Announcements:

FBLA members, we will have a quick meeting this Thursday, January 29th at 2:20 pm in room 124. You must attend if you are going to the state conference.  See you then!

Come to FCCLA this Thursday, right after school in room 120!  There will be snacks and a good time.

Attention all TSA members - we have a work meeting on Thursday in the tech lab at 2:20 pm.  The 2nd part of your state fees are due.  Come get your conference registration ID numbers as you will need those for the early submission events.  See you Thursday!

The Hour of Code is almost here!  If you want to prove to yourself that you, too, can easily learn to program a computer, sign up on the LHS homepage to attend this fun event that will be held in the cafeteria after school this Wednesday.  We'll be serving free Chipotle burritos to everyone who gives coding a try that day!

Attention Students!  The final day to purchase a yearbook is rapidly approaching!  We will have a limited number of books for sale at the end of the year, but once they are gone they are gone- so you will want to consider pre-purchasing.  The deadline to pre-purchase a yearbook is TODAY!

Students that are interested in taking classes at ACC for the fall 2015 semester, please plan to attend the Concurrent Enrollment meeting on Tuesday, January 27th at 2:15 in room 103.  A district representative will be there to explain the process.  Please see Mr. Puchino in counseling if you have questions.
