Today is an ODD Period Day – 1.3.5.7.

Special Events:

Do you have a sweetheart?  Or someone you have a crush on? Or just a friend you want send some happiness to?  IF SO, then find a Student Council member and buy a Val-O-Gram!  They are only $1 and you get the gram plus some yummy candy!  StuCo members will be selling them all this week and next until Feb. 12th!  It’s a fundraiser for Prom, so buy lots!!

Academic Announcements:

Attention Current 9th, 10th and 11th graders:  Registration for the 2015-16 school year begins on Monday, February 9th.  The schedule for grade level is as follows:
Current 10th graders - February 9th and 10th for junior year.
Current 9th graders - February 12th and 13th for sophomore year.
Current 11th graders - February 17th and 18th for senior year.

Students, please come to the forum during A or B lunch on one of your scheduled registration days to meet with counselors and receive instructions on the registration process.

Club Announcements:

FCCLA will be meeting TODAY room 120, right after school.  We will be having a bake sale this Thursday and Friday, so bring your dollars.

FBLA members - we will have a meeting TODAY at 2:20 pm in room 124.  Be prepared to start improving your projects for state!

All TSA State attendees - you have a mandatory meeting TODAY - if you are going to state then you must be in the tech lab on Thursday (Feb. 5th) from 2:20 - 3 pm.  See Mrs. Wilkins with questions - we leave for state in 2 weeks - its go time!

Juniors & Seniors – the LHS SWIM TEST is Thursday, February 12, 2015 after school (you will need to be dressed and ready to swim at 2:30 sharp)! The sign-up sheet is in the LHS Counseling Office.

For students needing help in Math & Science Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Girls basketball C team for their 12 point victory over Regis last night.  The team was led by Ellie Simpson with 10 points as they improved their record to 12 and 2 on the season.  Great job ladies!

Today is an ODD Period Day – 1.3.5.7.

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the Lady Lions Swim and Dive team. Friday the ladies defeated Chatfield and Bear Creek in their final league meet.  Saturday the team placed 5th out of 18 in the B league championships.  Congratulations to those girls who placed; Kerry Fliedner, Maddie Stouder, Julie Encinias, Sienna Woo,Lilly Jensen, Mandy Zueger, Maddie Fliedner, Aspen Lengyel,  and Josie Mottram. Extra congratulations to the top three finishers; Evalynn Pirnack 3rd in the 100 back; Emily Burch 3rd in the 100 freestyle and 2nd in the 50 freestyle; Kerry Fliedner 3rd in the 500 free and 2nd in the 100 back.  Way to go Ladies!

Congrats to the LHS Speech and Debate team, who competed at the 46 school Blazing Sun Invitational on Saturday.  Leading the way were:
David Levine and Eli Schwanitz, 3rd in Policy Debate, Maddie Chandler and Livvy Fore, with multiple wins in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, Imani Fanga and Micheal Shebowich with wins in Poetry, and Avery Zeiper, Abby Moses, Lauren Sehgal and Matt Sehgal with wins in Public Forum Debate

Athletes - Spring Sports Registration is now open. Avoid the delays and headaches in waiting until the last minute to receive your clearing card to participate in a sport.  Register now on the LHS Athletic Website at www.littletonlions.net . Check under "Registration Info" for assistance. Students will need to turn in a current Physical Form, if one is not already on file with the Athletic Department, and the Permission for Use of Private Vehicle must also be completed and turned in.
