STUDENT BULLETIN

International Week Highlights:

Last day for the Musana!  We have some fun items, like headbands, Bronco colored scarves, earrings, bracelets and you can even buy a chicken for the Musana School!!  All the money goes towards helping the Musana school in Uganda get some new technology, books, and other well-needed supplies!  The booth is in the front lobby from TODAY from 7am to 2:20!

Club Announcements:

Please support FCCLA TODAY by purchasing a Healthy, Homemade: brownie, cookie or pumpkin bread.  The cost is only $1. Students will be in the hallway before and after school or come to room 1972 (Culinary rm.)

Sports Announcements:

The Boys basketball program will be hosting its annual Purple & Gold night TONIGHT from 6:30-8:30 pm in the North Gym. All students are welcome to attend. Come show your support and see the teams scrimmage and compete in a 3-point contest. Fans can also win a Littleton basketball t-shirt!

The rescheduled 4 v 4 soccer tournament will be held on Wednesday, 12/2 at 2.45pm in the stadium. See coach Banfield with any questions.

Second semester schedule adjustments are set for the following days:      
Seniors - Monday, November 30      
Juniors - Tuesday, December 1      
(no adjustments on late start Wednesday December 2)      
Sophomores - Thursday, December 3      
Freshmen - Friday, December 4
Students needing to adjust their second semester schedule should go to the counseling office during an off period on their assigned day.

Great job to the Littleton Lionettes for their performance at their Pom League Competition last night! The cheer team performs TONIGHT at their Cheer League Competition at Chatfield Senior High School at 6:30pm! Come out and support your Lion Spirit!

Club Announcements:

For students needing help in Math & Science, Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here TONIGHT from 6:00-7:30pm in room 1740.  Please use the forum entrance.

Students, just a friendly reminder that e-mails will be going out on Thursday afternoons to inform your parents if you are failing one or more classes.  Remember to log-in to IC to check your academic progress!

Congratulations to the following Varsity Volleyball Players who were recognized as All-Conference selections in the Jefferson County League. 1st Team selections were Jr., Mallory Burbage, and Jr., Emma Parkhurst, 2nd Team honors go to Sr., Tessa Rubinstein, and Honorable Mention, Seniors, Mikalen Cox and Maya Sjoberg. Tessa Rubinstein was chosen as our LHS MVP. Congratulations ladies!

The 4 v 4 soccer tournament has been postponed and will not be played today due to the weather. It will be rescheduled for after Thanksgiving break.

If you did not sign up yet, and would like to participate in this project, please come and check out the list on Ms. Anthamatten's door, room 2620 or on Mr. Hahn's door in the counseling office.  Bring gifts to our December meeting!

Academic Announcements:

Seniors - We would like to invite you to participate in a positive, inclusive discussion regarding senior traditions at LHS, including SWAG.  Wednesday, November 18 is a late start, so we are going to meet at 8:15 am in the Forum.  We encourage all seniors to attend.

Sports Announcements:

Attention Lady Lion Fish swim practice will be held TODAY from 3:00-5:00. Wednesday will be time trials from 3:00-5:00.

Any student interested in Track and Field this spring please on plan on attending a short meeting TODAY at 2:30 in the health room.

Attention Spring and Fall Athletes. Lion Elite Athletic Performance Camp (or LEAP Camp) is here at LHS and ready to help athletes Maximize their Athletic Potential with the latest techniques in training and conditioning. Come learn more about LEAP CAMP TODAY at 2:45 in the health room.

This is a reminder that the Boys Soccer Banquet, for all levels, is TONIGHT at 6:00 pm. We will meet at the Cafeteria for our banquet and continue our celebrations in the Forum afterwards.

STUDENT BULLETIN

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the LHS Choir Department!  For the 17th year in a row Littleton HS will be represented at the Colorado All State Jazz Choir in January.  Eva Zamora, Emily Sanders and Mark Young were all selected to sing in the choir.  Also 6 students have been selected to the Southwest American Choral Directors Association Honor Choirs in Kansas City, Missouri!  They will perform in early March.  Alie Watson, Marissa Kelley, Kailu Shannon-Frolich, Jessica Cordova, Patrick Hayes and Sam Glaser.

Congratulations to the 55 DECA students who participated in the DIstrict 5 Leadership conference this past Friday.  Littleton was well represented by all members in competition against 7 other schools, and is proud to announce that 30 students will represent LHS DECA at the State Leadership Conference in February!

Congratulations to your Ridisculous mixed Ultimate team for placing 10th at state this weekend. In addition, they won the coveted spirit award! Look for the action to start anew with both a girls' and a boys' team in spring!!

Senior Announcements:

Attention Seniors!  A representative from Fort Lewis College will be in the Post Grad Center from 12-2 TODAY for Application Day!  She will meet with students to review application materials and, in many cases, provide you with an admission decision on the spot.  She will also waive the $40 application fee.  If Fort Lewis is on your list, do not miss this opportunity!  Come by Post Grad for more information and to sign up for a meeting time.

Knitting Club is up and running and meets TODAY in Ms. Quill's room #1602.  We are well on our way to completing all of the necessary squares for our Veteran's Blanket project. In order to complete this project (and upcoming ones!), we need some Knitting Club funds. Let's have everyone bring in $12 - that will carry us through this project and next! If you borrowed Ms. A's or Ms. Q's needles, please remember to bring them back.
