Clubs and Activities:

Attention Freshmen student council officers and ambassadors!  We are meeting on Monday the 13th after school to discuss our community service project.  A representative from House for Hope will join us to discuss the details of this project, and we will sign up for duties and responsibilities.  We will meet in the speech and debate room, next to the forum."

Attention NHS members! We have our mandatory monthly meeting this Monday, February 13th at 2:20 in the forum. We will be discussing our next service project, picking t-shirt designs, and having TWO raffles. See you then!

What's a great way to tell someone they are special to you?? Student Council has the answer--send them a Val-O-Gram!!  For only $1 you can send a message and a box of valentine's candy to that special someone in your life! See a Student Council member starting today!  We will be selling them up until Monday Feb. 13th.

Academics:

IB JUNIORS, you have a mandatory meeting Wednesday morning, February 15, at 8 am in the Forum. We will launch the Extended Essay process. Bring your Chromebooks and don't be late. See you at 8 am sharp on Wednesday, February 15. Stop by the IB office if you have questions.

Join your Unified Lions Basketball Team at the 2nd annual Unity through Unified Fundraiser Night.  Buy a Purple Unity shirt for $5 Monday, Tues, Wed in room 1618.  Let's turn the gym at Heritage  PURPLE Wednesday Feb 15th at 6pm.  Hope to see you all there!

Attention Seniors who will be the first in their families to go to college or a trade & tech school.  The annual Merkle scholarship application is now open online.  Students will have until Friday, March 3rd to complete the application package.  This is a wonderful opportunity which will award two Littleton students with up to $10,000 toward post high school training and education.  If you're interested in applying, stop by Post Grad for more information.

Our very own Head Girls Soccer Coach Terry Banfield has been awarded the Colorado High School Coaches Association Dick Katte Sportsmanship Award. This award is given annually to the Colorado coach who exhibits the highest level of sportsmanship in his personal and professional life and is therefore reflected in his or her team. This award is a reflection of the hard work Terry and his program has done over the years with the soccer teams at Littleton. We are honored to have Terry
be a part of our Littleton community!The award is to be presented at the Hall of Fame Banquet, held at the Radisson Hotel in Aurora, on Saturday. March 25th. Reception is at 5.30pm and dinner is at 6.30pm.

Winter Dance is Sat. Feb. 11th and it is a Time Machine theme!  So, let’s all get into the spirit and dress up in fun Time Machine outfits next week!! , Today is Hippy Day, Wednesday is NEON Day, Thursday is 90's day and Friday is Class T-shirt Day.  Get Creative and Have some fun!!
The Winter Dance has a twist this year.  Besides being able to dance and hang out with your friends in the cafeteria, you also have a chance to win some Amazon gift cards!!  There will be some fun Carnival Style Games where you can get tickets to be entered into 6 different RAFFLES!  The first 5 raffles win you $10 Amazon gift cards, while the last Raffle is for a $100 Amazon Gift Card!!  The games are only 50cents to play, so bring your quarters and dollars to the dance!!  There will also be Free Pizza and Pop...tickets into the dance this year is $9, and the dress code is very casual.  Don't forget if you are bringing a guest from another school, you need to pick up a guest form at Student Services!!  We hope to see you there and you could be the BIG WINNER!!

STUDENT BULLETIN

Student Congratulations and Recognition:

The LHS Speech and Debate team competed at two tournaments this last Saturday.  At the Lakewood Eye of the Tiger Invitational, Maddie Engeman placed 4th in Informative Speaking, and at the Denver Public Schools Invitational, Julia Valdez placed 5th in Poetry, Senior Sam Burke placed 6th in Program Oral Interp, Natalie Parkhurst placed 6th in Humor, and Senior Kelly Steinberg took 3rd in Humor.  Hannah Pederson, Will Dinneen, Ben Greenly, Rebecca Zickerman, and Senior Kathy Le also earned Outstanding mentions in their events.  Good job Lions!

Special Events:

Winter Dance is Sat. Feb. 11th and it is a Time Machine theme!  So, let’s all get into the spirit and dress up in fun Time Machine outfits next week!!  Monday is 50's day, Tuesday is Hippy Day, Wednesday is NEON Day, Thursday is 90's day and Friday is Class T-shirt Day.  Get Creative and Have some fun!!
