The Model UN Club will meet at 2:20pm in Room 2609 to discuss the upcoming November Model UN, the NY Model UN, and International Week. All are welcome especially IB students seeking Class Hours.

FBLA members our meeting this week,today, October 18, is all about training for the stock market challenge that we will be attending on Thursday, November 2 at the DU Cable center.  Stopy by the Business Office and sign up your team!  Plan on being at this meeting for one hour!  See you then!

The Gay Straight Alliance meets every Tuesday in room 1602 - come challenge your friends to board games and Harry Potter Trivia! All are welcome.

ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENTS:

A reminder to our student-leaders who have been nominated to serve on our LHS Captain/President Council (Leadership Academy): We will be hosting our next Leadership Academy meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, 10/18, at 7:20 am in the Health Room. A light breakfast will be served. See Mr. Amonson or Mr. Enzminger if you have questions.

Attention Juniors and Seniors!  We will have admissions reps from Colorado Christian, Wartburg and the University of Southern California visit us today.  And Barnard College will come tomorrow.  Be sure to sign up to attend on Naviance.

Are you interested in the military? All branches of the military offer ROTC programs at various colleges and universities across the country. ROTC stands for Reserve Officer Training Corps and many programs offer full-ride four year scholarships. Amazing! A representative from the Marine Corps will meet with interested students today, October 17th at 11:00 in Post Grad.  Sign up to attend on Naviance, and stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass from class.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Your LHS Ultimate Frisbee Team, the Biggleton Saucegods, dished out some hot and fresh sauce this weekend at the Monarch Invitational, placing 6th out of 18 teams. Wish them luck as they face Arapahoe on Tuesday with hopes to secure another win for their regular season record.

Congratulations to the LHS JV Women's Volleyball team for their win over Standley Lake Gators!  GO LIONS!

Congratulations to our LHS Cross Country team on its excellent work at the JeffCo League Meet this last Thursday. Junior Christian Sapakoff got 4th place in the boys varsity meet! For our girls, Senior Addi Iken got second in the girls varsity race. Furthermore, this Saturday, Addi won the Wiggins Invitational meet as the sole Littleton representative. Wish the varsity runners luck at Regionals in Frisco this Thursday!

Littleton High School will host Parent-Teacher Conferences on Monday, October 16, from 4:00 – 7:30 pm.  All parents are welcome to attend conferences to meet with teachers. The conferences are being held in the cafeteria and the south gym.
