STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

The LHS Boys Lacrosse team celebrated Senior Night with a 14-7 victory over Thomas Jefferson HS on Thursday night. All 11 Lion seniors were big contributors to the victory. The Lions improved their record to 10-4 on the season. Littleton finishes out the regular season on Friday night with a road game against Conifer HS at 7:00.

The girls varsity soccer team beat #7 ranked Niwot High School 1-0 last night to secure a spot in the playoffs which begin next Wednesday. Jasmyn Thompson-Harvey scored the goal off an assist by Susie Puchino. Keeper Lily Jensen had the shutout. Congratulations ladies and good luck in the State tournament!

Congratulations to the JV girls soccer team who finished the season in the rain yesterday with a 3-0 win over Niwot. Hanna Salz, Emily Holzman and Izzy Colkitt scored for the Lions.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The Yearbooks have arrived!!  Come buy your copy before they sell out!  Books are $75 and can be purchased at the bookkeeper's window, cash or check only.  Once they are gone, we cannot get more- so don't wait! If you pre-ordered a book, come pick it up at the attendance window and bring your ID.

It is Choir Pops Concert Week!  The concerts is tonight at 7p.m. You can buy tickets in the ticket booth during lunches.

 It's the last day of Art Week! Last chance to get a temporary henna tattoo with Mrs. Jeannelle throughout the day, in art room 1218. In the cafeteria, during lunch, come to Mrs. Rapp's photo booth, dress up and take memorable pictures with your friends.

Congratulations to the new Student Council officers for the 2018-19 school year!!  Student Body President Emma Slenkovich, Vice President Ozzie Froelich, Public Relations Claire Fielder, School Accountability Representative Jennifer Zirkle.  Class of 2019 President Ben Greenly, Vice President Andrew Mottram, Class of 2020 Makayla Franklin President and Ellie Fuchs Public Relations Officer, Class of 2021 Kate Lurie President and Hailey Houtsma Vice President.  We look forward to a GREAT year next year!  There are still some positions to be filled, we will be doing interview for those in the next couple of weeks.

Attention all STudent Council officer, ambassadors and general council members, we have our LAST GenCo meeting of the year on Monday May 7th in the forum, starting at 2:25.  We are going to vote on next year's Homecoming Theme and some other end of the year business.  AND, our banquet is also that night in the forum starting at 4:30.  PLEASE be there if you want to know if you lettered. Food will be served! Thanks

Tryouts for our LHS Spirit Squad will be next week! There is a mandatory parent meeting on Monday May 7th at 5:30 in Rm. 1329. Tryouts will take place on Thursday, May 10th and Friday, May 11th from 3:30-5:30 in the North Gym.Anyone interested in trying out needs to have a current physical on file with the athletic office.

If you did NOT pre-order a book, we have 100 books to sell beginning Friday morning at the bookkeeper's window. When they sell out we cannot get any more so don't wait!  Books are $75.00, cash or check only. Please see Mrs. Fisher with any questions.

Technology Student Association is having a mandatory meeting today, in the tech lab. Come on down to vote for next year's officers! There will be food and a chance to win an amazon gift card. Meeting will begin at 2:30pm, See you then!

It is Choir Pops Concert Week!  The concerts are tonight and Friday at 7p.m. You can buy tickets in the ticket booth during lunches all week.

We want everyone to know that we will have the Spring Pep Assembly tomorrow.  The pep assembly will be after first block - starting at 8:51. Check the bell schedule for the rest of the day.

It's Art Week! Come during lunch for caricatures and the ceramics sale in the lobby. Stop by during your off period, in art room 1218, to give yourself a 2-week henna tattoo with Mrs. Jeannelle. If painting interests you, there will be a Bob Ross paint-a-long, in room 1215, after school.

STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

The LHS Boys Lacrosse team defeated Vail Mountain School 13-5 on Tuesday night.
The Lions improved their record to 9-4 on the season. Matty Paredes lead the team with 7 goals and 3 assists while Reid Ervin played a strong game on defense picking up 11 ground balls and scoring a goal. The Lions play their final home game of the season and will celebrate Senior Night on Thursday, May 3 against Thomas Jefferson. Game time is 7:30 in the Stadium. The Senior night festivities will start at 7:00. Come out and cheer the Lions on to victory and help honor this year's Senior lacrosse players.

STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

The girls varsity soccer team beat Golden 3-0 last night. Sarah Gray had a hatrick off two assists by Sarah Payson and one by Anna Newby. Keeper Lily Jensen had the shutout. Congratulations ladies!

The Littleton Boys Lacrosse team split 2 games last week. The Lions lost to Green Mountain HS 13-9 on Wednesday before bouncing back to defeat George Washington HS 19-8 on Friday afternoon.  LHS hosts Vail Mountain School today, May 1, at 5:30 PM in the Stadium. Come out and cheer the Lions on to victory.

On Thursday the girls ultimate frisbee team won their scrimmage against Arapahoe, 9-2. Yesterday the girls lost their game to Boulder 3-8.

Attention all Seniors!  Please check your school email or cell phone for a text or email notifying you of some fun senior activities on May 2nd!!  This is a day we have set aside for you to get together as a class and just have some fun and take care of some graduation business!  SO, check your phones and computers and we'll see you on the 2nd!

Spring fling for Greenhouse/ PEAS club today right after.  Time to celebrate a year of cultivating food, fun and knowledge. There will definitely be food!

This is a reminder we have Seminar tomorrow.  9th, 10th & 11th graders will be viewing officer speeches and voting for next year’s officers.  And seniors you have a VERY important meeting regarding Graduation.  You should go straight to the Theater and sit with your Seminar.

There will be an important Boys Soccer meeting for players only today, May 1st,  at 2:30 in the Health Room (Rm 1329). This is for all boys interested in playing Soccer in the upcoming season in the Fall. Information will be given about camps, pre-season, and season activities.

Baseball Summer Information Meeting is rescheduled today, May 1 at 6:00 pm in the Forum.

STUDENT RECOGNITION AND CONGRATULATIONS:

Congratulations to the DECA students who competed at the International conference last week in Atlanta, Georgia.  DECA members competed against students from all 50 states and Canada in role play and written events as well as had the chance to visit many sites such as the Atlanta Aquarium and the Civil Rights Museum.  LHS DECA is very proud of Nico Corradino, Reilly McGuire, Reganne Fornstrom, Ben Morris, Jacques Goffinet, Matthew Norwood, Sarah Payson, Lucy Schreiber, Rory Stark, Tyler Ervin, Mason Kuhlmann, Rose Kelly & Erin Malloy for all they achieved to reach the top levels of DECA. A special congratulations goes to Makayla Franklin and Ellie Fuchs who placed top 20 in the nation for Business start up plan, an amazing accomplishment!

What if there was a sport where you weren't restricted by the size of the playing field? How about a fun, healthy sport requiring very little special equipment? What about one that encourages you to run across grassy fields, along trails, and at times, through water? Come see how cool Cross Country can be during our informational pre-season meeting on Monday, April 30 at 5:30 p.m. in the Forum. Students and their parents are invited to meet the coaches, learn about summer running, get information about our summer running camp and hear about the season. Athletes of all abilities are welcome and little or no running experience is required for this no-cut sport. Hope to see you there!

LPS/Heritage High School Hockey Parent & Player Information Meeting:
Any hockey player or parent who would to like play or get more information about playing in the Heritage/LPS High School Hockey Program should attend the New Player Information Meeting. The team is made up of students from Arapahoe, Littleton, Heritage and Options high schools, This meeting will introduce the coaches, who we are and what Heritage/LPS Hockey is all about. The meeting is Tuesday, May 1st 6:00 pm at Heritage High School in the 3rd Floor Lecture Hall.
