STUDENT BULLETIN:

Be sure to get your spirit on this week by participating in our dress-up days! Get your sci-fi on tomorrow, and as always, we will end the week with class t-shirt day on Friday! We hope to see you all dressed up!

Attention, all students, the Winter Dance will be held on Saturday from 8:00 -11:00 pm in the South Gym. Tickets are $8 pre-sale in the cafeteria during lunches or $10 at the door. Students must bring school ID to the dance. Guest forms are available in Student Services and must be handed in by tomorrow.

Registration for the 2019-2020 school year will be in the Forum during A and B lunch. Please listen for your grade level and the dates.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Forty FBLA students attended and competed yesterday in a variety of events, and an astounding 35 of these students qualified to compete at the FBLA state conference in April! The following students placed in first: Kenneth Huynh, Rory Stark, Danyah Al Saaid, Izzy Colkitt, Barrett Small, Grady Redding, Sarah Young, Lane Gray, Addi Vander Velde, Andrew Carpender, Eliska Martinez, Breighton Miller, Jenna Silverman, and Bryan Sirner. To see the complete list of state qualifiers, please see the FBLA Announcement Board in the Business Hallway! Please join me in congratulating them all; their hard work really paid off! We are Lion proud!

DECA will be hosting a community service event to write letters to soldiers deployed overseas today and Thursday after school. If you are interested in participating, please come to Room 1976 from 3:45 to 4:15; supplies will be provided. We hope to see you there!

The STAR (Students Taking Active Roles) Club is meeting today! Come join us for some pizza and gain valuable information at 3:45 pm, in the Team Room #1558, located by the Athletic Entrance. Any LHS student is invited to participate! Students who would like to sign-up can do so at the Attendance Office.

Sources of Strength Peer Leaders will meet tomorrow morning at 7:30 am in Ms. Rapp's room, Room 1219. See you there!

Littleton High School’s newest club, Jewish Student Connection, offers an opportunity to chat, laugh, learn and eat--yes EAT!--all with a Jewish twist! Everyone is welcome! Our next meeting is tomorrow at 7:45 am, in room 1748. We hope to see you there!

The Girls Ultimate team is having a meeting in Verbos' art room after school tomorrow from 3:40 - 4:15 pm. Come to receive information about getting involved in the upcoming season.

Political Committee will meet in room 2608 at 8:00 am on Friday.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention, Lions, today is The National Girls and Women in Sports Day. NGWSD is an annual day of observance held during the first week of February to acknowledge the accomplishments of female athletes, recognize the influence of sports participation for women and girls, and honor the progress and continuing struggle for equality for women in sports. Shout out to all our Lady Lion student athletes, past and present. Way to represent our school and community!

There will be a Women's Soccer player meeting tomorrow at 3:45 pm in the tech lab.  We will discuss dates of camp, tryouts, scrimmages and game schedules, spirit packs, Game Day t-shirt design, team rules, and team expectations. If you have any questions, please see or email Mr. Coons.

Students, let’s pack the house with purple Friday night for the Boys Basketball game against Green Mountain! Our six spectacular seniors will be recognized at 7:15, just before the start of the Varsity game, so be sure to get there early to show your support and cheer them on! Go, Lions!
