CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
FCCLA/Culinary Club will be having a Pre-Valentine Party today after school in room 1972. Please bring a yummy homemade treat to share.

Attention Sophomores: Are you interested in working in the healthcare field? If so, come to the forum during A or B lunch on Tuesday to learn about a two-year program that propels high school students towards careers in healthcare. See your email for more information or talk to Mrs. Bartlett-Mogg in the STEM office.

MOCK TRIAL will meet after school on Monday. We will scrimmage against each other to prepare for our scrimmage with DDST on Friday, February 14th.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Come out to cheer on your LPS Hockey team this weekend as they face Cherry Creek tomorrow night, at 7:50 pm at Family Sports and Chatfield at home at 6:30 pm on Saturday!

All girls interested in playing tennis for the Lions this spring, please attend a brief meeting in Ms. Sanford's room (1317) on Monday, February 10th, at 3:45 pm.

Come cheer your Unified Lions at Arapahoe High School tonight at 7:00 pm at the 5th annual Tri City Tournament. The Lions are undefeated at this tournament, keeping LHS the Champions of LPS! After the game, Chick-Fil-A at Southglenn is offering a free entree from 6-9 pm to those wearing Unified apparel. All you need to do is share the word with their staff that you are part of the Unity through Unified game on Thursday, and you'll be good to go!

Congratulations to all the FBLA members who braved the cold yesterday and competed at the 2020 District conference. Littleton brought home multiple awards, and many students qualified for the state conference in April! Littleton FBLA students earned fourteen 1st place awards, three 2nd place awards, five 3rd place awards, two 4th place awards, and two first alternate positions. Check out the FBLA board in the Business Hall for the full results.

STUDENT BULLETIN

Attention Juniors: This Wednesday for Seminar you will go to either the Theater or the Forum. Please check the lists posted outside of the counseling office or the front lobby to find your location.

All students -- please mark your calendars with this change. We will have an extended Seminar on Wednesday, February 12th. The bell schedule will be posted when we get closer.

Don’t forget LHS! The Winter Dance will be this Friday, February 7th from 8:00 -11:00 pm in the South Gym. Tickets go on sale today in the front lobby during both lunches each day as well as before and after school on Thursday and Friday. Tickets are $8 pre-sale or $10 at the door. Students must bring a school ID to the dance. Guest forms are also available in Student Services and must be handed in by Thursday, February 6th.

Today, we will kick off spirit week with Hippie Day, tomorrow will be Twin Day, Wednesday will be We Wear Pink, Thursday will be Bikers and Class Shirt Day on Friday. Students are welcome to dress in theme attire or in semi-formal wear; all must be dress code appropriate.

Student Council members: The General Council meeting for tomorrow has been cancelled.

Boy’s Ultimate Frisbee will be having a call out meeting today after school in room 1311 for information regarding the spring season. Players of all skill and abilities are encouraged to attend.

Littleton Dandelions Ultimate team needs girls! Meet today in the North Gym for throwing practice or in the Verbos’ art room at 4:15 pm for creative fun. First practice is February 24th.

Our speech and debate team competed on Friday and Saturday at the Avenger's themed Thor's Hammer Challenge at Discovery Canyon High School. Leading the way for the team were Nick Hopper placing 3rd in Lincoln Douglas debate, and Maddie Engemen placing 4th in informative speaking. Thanos was defeated, the universe is safe, and the team did a great job overall


SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Congratulations to wrestlers Karsten Beich, Nicklaus DeShon, and Haidan Marchetti-Williams for winning the League Championship last Friday and to Elias Garcia, Nolan Kueny, and Emerson Smith for placing second at the League Championship. Additionally, congratulations to Karsten Beich and Issak Hosford for taking first place at the Gilpin Invitational on Saturday. If you see a wrestler wish them the best at the Regional Wrestling Tournament happening on February 14th and 15th to qualify for State.

Your LPS Hockey team rounded off the weekend with a loss to East and a win over Kent. The team remains first in their division and fourth in the state. This weekend they play a big game against Cherry Creek on Friday night at 7:50 pm at Family Sports and Saturday at home against Chatfield at 6:30pm.

Attention all junior and senior boys: Want to dance with the LHS Lionettes at the winter dance assembly? Join Boy Poms! We will have practices to learn a fun and easy dance tomorrow and this Thursday from 4-5 PM in the cafeteria. All participants must be at both practices and have a current physical on file to perform at the assembly on February 7th. Snacks will be provided at practices. Let a Lionette team member know if you are interested. See you there!
