CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Littleton Lions, We've made it to another December. This year you might feel more exhausted than in years past (We know we're tired for sure).
Before we unplug our laptops for winter break it's important that we look back on what we've accomplished.
Even though a pandemic is a challenge to live through, you have been doing a stellar job.
We know it's tempting to slam the door in 2020's face.
But why not take a moment to reflect on the moments worth celebrating:
What are you grateful for this year?
What did you learn about yourself this year?
What did you learn about others?
Which strength did you turn to the most?
Did you grow in any strengths?
We're so proud of you all and hope you have a good finals week and an even better winter break.
$5 Starbucks Card and Winter Bingo!
Tag sos_lhs on Instagram with a post of your finished Bingo Board and email it to mrapp@lps.k12.co.us for entry into a contest to win a $5 Gift Card to Starbucks! Enjoy a warm cup of cocoa (or coffee drink of choice) on Sources of Strength! Winner will be drawn at random on January 2nd, 2021.

CONGRATULATIONS:
Our speech and debate team wrapped up their first semester competing at the (virtual) 27th annual Winter Wonder tournament through Cherry Creek High School. Taking home awards for the team were Virginia Frau, who placed 10th in Lincoln Douglas debate, and Grady Redding, who placed 10th in Informative speaking. We again had a large number of students earning superior and outstanding mentions. Great job, team, and even better semester. This team has worked hard to remain positive and competitive in some pretty strange circumstances.
