CONGRATULATIONS:
Last weekend, our speech and debate team competed at the Colorado Cup through Mullen High School. This was a large, multi-day tournament, and our team did really well. Leading the way were Grady Redding, who placed 6th in Informative speaking, and Nick Hopper, who placed 5th in Lincoln Douglas Debate. The PF team of Alicia Chavez and Grant Kinzie also placed 9th in Public Forum Debate. The debate team next competes this Saturday at the 2nd Annual Never Again tournament, and the speech team next competes the following Saturday at the Ocelot Invitational. Great job, Lions!
