Greetings Philosophers: As per our vote yesterday, Philosophy Club will now meet on Fridays after school. This means we will meet today after school in Room 102. Feel free to stop by if you like to share ideas, converse, and challenge each other. Anyone is welcome.
Hip Hop club will be having its first meeting this coming Monday, August 29. We will meet in room 216 at 2:30. Everyone is welcome!

Sports Announcements:
Open gyms begin next Tuesday night for all girls interested in playing basketball this season. Each Tuesday and Thursday night begins at 5:45 in the weight room and continues on the basketball court from 6:30-8:00. Open gyms are an excellent way to get ready for tryouts in November. We'll see you there!

Actors, it's that time again. The Fall Show this year is the hilarious farce Noises Off. Auditions are 6 September and on Monday the 29th of August there will be an informational meeting after school in 146. If you are interested in auditioning or crewing on this show, come on down. See you Monday.

Greetings Philosophers and curious thinkers: Philosophy club will be holding its first meeting tomorrow after school. Anybody is welcome to drop by and find out what it’s about. The first FBLA meeting of the year will be tomorrow at 2:20 pm in Room 124. Come to see what FBLA is about, meet the officers and enjoy an afternoon treat! All are welcome!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:
A special thank you goes out to the LHS Lion Pride Marching band, the LHS Cheer squad and the Poms for their participation in the Western Welcome Week Parade held last Saturday and an extra thank you to the LHS Lion football team, who were dressed in their uniforms and cheering along the sidelines! Way to go, LIONS!
