Student Recognition & Congratulations:
The LHS Speech and Debate team competed at the 46 school Cherry Creek Invitational. Imani Fanga finished 5th in Poetry, and Maddie Chandler was undefeated in Lincoln Douglas debate, finishing 3rd.

The Optimist International Club is hosting their annual essay contest for 2015. Winners receive cash awards ranging from $50-$100 and their essay is forwarded on to compete for a $2500 scholarship. The theme for the essay is “Optimism Should be a Priority.” The application and essay must be submitted by February 14. Please see Mrs. Mashak in the main office for more information
