Today is an ODD Period Day – 1.3.5.7.

Special Events:

Tomorrow is the last day for our LHS seniors, please wear your Class T-shirts and Seniors wear your Senior shirts for the Assembly at the end of the day!  The assembly honors our seniors and has them go through the tunnel of teachers to complete their circle of high school that began with Freshmen orientation's tunnel of teachers.  After the assembly the other classes get to "graduate" to their new places in the gym, then head out to Spring Fling.  We hope to see you there with lots of spirit and good thoughts for our seniors.

SPRING FLING IS ALMOST HERE!  What is spring fling you ask?  It is a party that Student Council throws for the entire school this Friday on the senior's last day of school!  There will be free food, bouncey games, ultimate frisbee, soccer, bean bag toss and much, much more!  It all happens right after the senior assembly on Friday-2:15-4:15 out on the grass soccer fields.  Hope to see you there!

Academic Announcements:

Students: If you requested AP Calculus AB for next fall but you were not able to come to the meetings on Monday or Tuesday, you must see Mr. Brooks as soon as possible. Details about the summer homework assignment will follow.

Students:  Are you looking for a summer job?  If so, Englewood High School is hosting a Youth Job Fair with more than twenty local employers TODAY, from 3:45-5:45 pm.  Resume and interview dress encouraged.  See Mr. Hahn for more detailed information.

All Students! All library materials, including calculators, are due TOMORROW!  Please find all those books and return them to avoid library fines!!

For students needing help in Math & Science, Lockheed Martin tutoring will be here TONIGHT from 6:00-7:30pm in room 107.  Please use the forum entrance.

Senior Announcements:

ATTENTION SENIORS!  Your Senior shirts will be available for pick up in the senior hallway after school until 3pm.  If you are unable to pick yours up during these times, they will be available during the senior breakfast on Friday morning.

Seniors if you did not get a Senior Breakfast invitations or a 'Most Likely To.." ballot, they are available until the end of TODAY at the attendance window.  Please take one and return the Most Likely To ballot to the box on Ms. Prestel's desk.  Thanks!

Student Recognition & Congratulations:

Congratulations to the new Student Council officers:  Student Body President-Eric Hanson, Student Body Vice President Elisabeth Sanson, Student Body Public Relations-Anna Sonju, Student Body Secretary-Kevin Vick.  Class officers are:  Class of 2016 President-Claudia Kramer, Vice President-Samantha Sanson, Class of 2017-President Grant Bowman, Vice President-Emily Sanders, Public Relations Officer 1-Andy Bredar and Public Relations Officer 2-Kathy Le, Class of 2018-President Preston Novinger, Vice President Sarah Payson, and Public Relations Officer-Tuscon DeShon.  Nice job everyone!!

Yearbooks are on sale now with the bookkeeper!  Don't wait. We have a limited number for sale. First come, first serve.  If you pre-ordered you can pick up your book from Mrs. Anderson in the main office.  Congratulations, yearbook staff on a great job!

Student Council elections are TODAY!  Teachers please make sure your classes get to the following locations for the assembly:  Seniors to the cafeteria, juniors to the library, sophomores to the forum and freshmen to the north gym.  Thank you very much!

Attention returning speech and debate members.  We have a mandatory meeting TODAY in the speech room.  This won't take long, but all returning students who wish to compete next year need to be there.
