Special Events:

Winter Dance is Sat. Feb. 11th and it is a Time Machine theme!  So, let’s all get into the spirit and dress up in fun Time Machine outfits next week!!  Monday is 50's day, Tuesday is Hippy Day, Wednesday is NEON Day, Thursday is 90's day and Friday is Class T-shirt Day.  Get Creative and Have some fun!!

The Winter Dance has a twist this year.  Besides being able to dance and hang out with your friends in the cafeteria, you also have a chance to win some Amazon gift cards!!  There will be some fun Carnival Style Games where you can get tickets to be entered into 6 different RAFFLES!  The first 5 raffles you win $10 Amazon gift cards, while the last Raffle is for a $100 Amazon Gift Card!!  The games are free to play!  There will also be Free Pizza and Pop...tickets into the dance this year is $9, and the dress code is very casual.  Don’t forget if you are bringing a guest from another school, you need to pick up a guest form at Student Services!!  We hope to see you there and you could be the BIG WINNER!!

Clubs and Activities:

Attention all Student Council officers, Ambassadors and GenCo members, we have a General Council meeting on Monday Feb. 6th, starting at 2:20 in the forum.  We are having a couple of guest speakers talk to us as well as handing out Student Council t-shirts, so please be there...and bring $5 if you haven't paid for your shirt yet.

Academics:

Attention Juniors & Seniors:  An admissions rep from Metropolitan State University of Denver will be here to meet with students Monday, Feb. 6, at 11:30 in the Post Grad Center. Please sign up on Naviance to attend this meeting.

Registration for the 2017-2018 school year will be in the Forum during A or B lunch:

The final Unified basketball home game is Monday night at 7pm.  Our theme is 70's night.  Let's Boogie!

Attention Seniors!  Post Grad is receiving new scholarship opportunities every day.  Check the bulletin board in the Language Arts hallway outside of Post Grad often.
Transcripts!  Attention Seniors applying to college!  Remember that your transcript needs to be ordered 10 school days before your college deadline!  We want all of your materials to arrive at your colleges on time, so take note of these popular application deadlines and your LHS deadlines:

Hey Littleton High School! NHS will be sponsoring a blood drive on Thursday, February 2nd and Friday, February 3rd here at LHS. Students under 18 will need a signed parental consent form. There are only 40 slots available each day, so please see Mr. Hahn or Ms. Fritz with questions and to sign up to donate on an off hour!

Student Recognition and Congratulations:

Congratulations to our Junior Varsity Lady Lionfish for completing their season at League Finals this past weekend. The Lady Lionfish swam super fast and set many personal best times. Way to go, girls!

Clubs and Activities:

Our Speech and Debate team had a long day and a very late night on Saturday, competing at the Fairview Freeze.  Avery Zieper placed 6th overall for Impromptu Speaking, and senior Sam Burke earned 6th place for Program Oral Interp.  Good job, lions.
