Student Congratulations and Recognition:

Congratulations to the varsity girl's soccer team who beat powerhouse Denver East yesterday 2-1 in a thrilling double overtime game! Jasmyn Thompson - Harvey scored her first varsity goal from an assist by Susie Puchino. Sarah Gray thumped in a free kick part way through the second overtime period to give the Lions a hard earned victory.

Congratulations to Senior Bruce Barnstable on being selected as a John Lynch Foundation Star of the Month! These awards are presented to Colorado students who excel in athletics and academics all while also serving the community through volunteer efforts. As a varsity track and cross country athlete, a top student in the IB program and an active volunteer, Bruce is well-deserving of this special honor! The awards ceremony will be at the Field House at the Bronco’s Dove Valley Training Center where Bruce will collect his award, meet John Lynch and tour the facility.
Well done, Bruce Barnstable – John Lynch Foundation Star of the Month!

Your Lion Ultimate open team is still searching for the "W" after going down to D'Evelyn 6-11 yesterday. Come out to Goddard on Tuesday and see the girls take on Denver East as the open team plays Heritage.

Sham O Grams are just like Val O Grams,  you get to send a fun note to a friend, plus they get some chocolate, all for a buck! This year, you will also be helping out a teenager living at the Littleton Urban Peak center, as all the money will go to that organization. So, help out a teen in need and make all your friends happy too-buy a Sham O Gram!

Attention Freshmen Student Council members!  We are having a brief meeting today after school in the speech room to go over last minute details and assign jobs for our community service project.  Everyone planning on participating in the community service project needs to attend.  This is required for lettering, and our meeting won't be very long.

Your X chromosomes girls' ultimate team was unable to pull off the win at Monarch yesterday. We continue to get stronger...great work everyone!! The action continues as the guys take on D'Evelyn at Goddard on Thursday

Let's go Lions!  Members of our speech and debate team are competing at the state tournament this Friday and Saturday, held at Mountain Vista.  Please wish them good luck as they have put in a long season full of hard work and hope to return with even more success.  Those students are Sam Burke, Kelly Steinberg, Ben Greenly, Julia Valdez, Ben Morris, Will Dinneen, Matt Sehgal, and Brisa Banuelos

Student Congratulations and Recognition:

The Girls basketball team is the 4-A Academic State Champions. They have the highest GPA of any basketball program in the state.

Boys Lacrosse defeated last year’s final four team, Battle Mountain High School, to kick off the 2017 season. Congrats boys!

The Varsity girl's soccer team beat Pomona 5-0 on Saturday. Sarah Gray had a hatrick, Sarah Payson scored one and Anna Newby scored a goal and had two assists. Katie Puchino had the other assist and goalkeeper Lily Jensen recorded the shutout. Congratulations ladies!

Congratulations to the JV soccer team for their 2-1 win over Pomona. Strong defense by Gillian Olin and goals by Izzy Colkitt and Allie Puckett lead the Lions.
