Student Congratulations and Recognition:

Congratulations to girls tennis on their 6-1 victory over golden last night.

Academics:

State Testing is next week! Be sure to check for your room assignments!
Juniors you will be taking the SAT on Tuesday, April 11 and the CMAS Science on Thursday, April 13.  You will need to have your chromebook charged and ready to go for the CMAS Science test.  If your chromebook is not functioning properly, please go to the library as soon as possible to get it fixed.
Sophomores you will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday, April 12.
And Freshman you will be taking the CMAS English/Language Arts & Math tests on Tuesday - Thursday, April 11 - 13.
 9th graders -- you will need to have your chromebook charged and ready to go for each day of testing.  If your chromebook is not functioning properly, please go to the library as soon as possible to get it fixed.

Clubs and Activities:

Attention NHS members! We have our MANDATORY monthly meeting this Monday after school. We will be having our drawing and discussing elections for next year's officers! See you there!

Our Lion Ultimate girls' team fought hard against Arapahoe and the guys played well v Lakewood, but we weren't able to get a win yesterday! Open team was down 4 points, came back to tie it up, and ended up losing 8-10. Wish our teams luck as we compete at the East Invite this weekend!

Attention Juniors and Seniors! If you did not receive a Prom Invitation, you can pick one up in the main office or counseling office

Now is the time to audition for the 2017-18 select choirs.  Audition sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board outside the choir room.  You can still audition even if you didn't originally register for a choir class.  Talk to current choir students or Mr. Farrell if you need more information.

Prom Guest forms are available at Student Services and the Main Office. They are due back on April 27, 2017.

Sports:

There will be an important Boys Soccer meeting for players only on Tuesday, April 11th  at 2:30 in the Health Room (Rm 1329). This is for all boys interested in playing Soccer in the upcoming season in the Fall. Information will be given about camps, pre-season, and season activities.

Blog Announcements:

Come celebrate Earth Day and help fund raise for After Prom! Join us Saturday, April 22nd from 10-2 for a Paint Recycling event.

After Prom announcement for Seniors. If your parent has not emailed your adorable baby photo for the memorable slide show, the deadline has been extended to April 10th!  Have them send your baby/toddler photo(jpg) along with your name to bjtfantle@gmail.com

The LHS Swim Proficiency test will be Wednesday, April 12th at 9:30 a.m. Sign-up in the Counseling Office. Space is limited to the first 30 students.

Art Club and Ultimate Frisbee Club are co-hosting a tie-dye party today from 2:30-3:30 in the big art room. You can buy a shirt to dye for $5 ($4 for Art Club and Ultimate Frisbee Club members). You can bring other 100% cotton stuff to dye if you want. Make the world more colorful with tie-dye!
