STUDENT BULLETIN:

Congratulations to the winners of the Freshman class Student Council elections. The new Freshman class president is Howie Marshall. The New Freshman Vice President is Marcelino Mazzeo, and the new Freshman Public Relations representative is Morgan Kelly! Thank you to all the candidates for your hard work and great speeches.

Attention Student Council members, there is a General Council meeting next Tuesday, September 4 at 7:45 a.m. in the forum. Please plan to attend. We will be working on homecoming committees.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The boy's varsity tennis team was defeated by D'Evelyn Thursday 5-2. The boys JV tennis team defeated D'Evelyn 6-2. Next match is Tuesday, September 5 at Conifer.

Congratulations to the JV boys soccer team on a great 2 to 1 win over Ralston Valley. Ulises Serrano scored two amazing goals, one assisted by Aidan Flaugh. Griffin Kramer and Jakob Bubelis anchored a solid defense for the Lions.

STUDENT BULLETIN:

We are still looking for student tutors to support our freshmen and sophomore students in our Academic Study Center classes. Tutors can commit to helping 1 or 2 days per week and receive CAS hours or student assistant credit. Please have any interested students see their counselor or Mr. Enzminger ASAP.

Reminder for 9th grade STEM Students. Our kick-off informational session will be during A and B lunch this today in the forum. Bring your lunch and come down to get all the information on the STEM Certificate program requirements and what fun activities we have in store for this year. If you have any questions see Mrs. Bartlett in the library.

Attention drivers: You may have noticed that campus supervisors issued parking warnings last week. They will be out this week to issue tickets for cars parked in LHS lots without permits. You can purchase a permit at the bookkeeper's window.

Students, our School Accountability Committee is looking for two at-large student members! The committee meets once a month after school. This opportunity would be an incredible way to make a difference here at LHS! Please go to our school's website, find the School Accountability Committee page, and download an application. Applications are due this Friday, August 31st!

Chromebooks are available for pick up in the library before school, during lunch, during an off hour or after school. You must have your signed permission slip with you.

Are you interested in technology and engineering? Have you ever wanted to try robotics, film making, fashion design, or building CO2 cars? If so, Technology Student Association is the club for you. Come on down to the tech lab - room 215 this Friday at 7:45 am to learn more! We hope to see you there. 

National Honor Society members you have your first mandatory meeting in the Forum Friday morning at 7:45.  See you there!

The Model UN Club will meet in Room 2609 at 7:45am this Thursday, August 30th. All students who are interested in learning about international affairs are welcome!

Key Club is a service organization offering LHS students the chance to make new friends while helping their community. Our first meeting will be Thursday, August 30th in room 2620 at 7:50am. 
Everyone is welcome from eighth graders through seniors. We hope to see you on the 30th.

Come support your Girls Gymnastics Team at their 1st meet of the season! This Wednesday the meet begins at 6pm in the East Gym at Cherry Creek High School. Keep calm & flip on!

The boys varsity tennis team defeated Alameda 7-0 yesterday. The most exciting match was Jack Fidler playing # 1 singles. His match took over 2 hours with a 6-3, 6-3 win. The varsity and JV team play Thomas Jefferson today at their courts starting at 4 pm.

Is using technology and big machines your kind of volunteer work? Are you interested in a set volunteer time? Are you willing to do something awesome that will greatly help out the teaching staff? This year volunteers are needed to help out in the copy room. Sign-ups will be weekly or bi-weekly. Shifts will be one to two hours in the mornings with the time slots yet to be determined. We are looking for a team of at least 10 volunteers.

Congratulations to your "Pride of Littleton" Marching Band!
The Band performed at the Colorado State Fair Parade Competition this past Saturday and earned the 3rd place Overall Sweepstakes Award out of 21 total competing Bands. Holly Rossman was also recognized as "The Outstanding Drum Major" for the day! Go Band!!!

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Congratulations to the Boys Soccer C team on their come from behind 5-2 win over Overland High School. Lions were led in scoring by John Lieb, Brian Chairez, Tony Fahn, and Carter Griffin.

Congratulations to the boys and girls cross country squads on their successful runs last Friday at the Cheyenne Mountain Pre-State Meet in Colorado Springs! The Lions harriers are in action again this Friday at the Arapahoe Warrior Invitational. Races start at 4:00 p.m. at deKoevend Park. Come cheer on the purple and gold!
The Littleton Tennis Team won our Littleton Doubles JV Tournament Saturday 8/25. Mullen, Lake Wood, and South rounded out the competition. All 4 doubles teams were undefeated. The result was a first-place finish. Great way to start off the season.

Come cheer on your Lion’s volleyball players as they host cross-town rival Heritage in the "Volley 4 Vets" game on Wednesday, August 29 at 6:00pm.
