STUDENT BULLETIN:

Attention Juniors and Sophomores: The PSAT test date is Wednesday, October 10th at 8:00 a.m. in the South Gym. Registration will begin Monday, September 17th and conclude Friday, October 5th. Sign up in the counseling office and bring $20 (non-refundable). Space is limited so do not wait until the last minute!

Jazz In the Lobby happens TODAY after school at 3:32 in the Main Lobby of the school. Come enjoy some great afternoon Jazz and start your weekend right!

Attention Juniors and Seniors! Admissions reps from Texas Christian University and Kansas State University will be at Littleton today. On Monday we'll host Drake University, CU Boulder, Northern Arizona University, and Cornell College in Iowa. Please sign up on your Naviance account to attend, and stop by Post Grad to pick up a pass from class.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

A reminder that Monday kicks off Homecoming week with Glitter/Sparkle Day! Also, don't forget to go to the Bonfire Monday night at 7:30! We will have games, desserts, music, and FUN! Come show your spirit!

The Homecoming Dance is next Saturday, September 22nd. If you'd like to go but are not going because you do not have a dress or formal attire please visit our clothes closet, the Lion's Cupboard. It will be open Tuesday after school or you can make an individual appointment by seeing Mr. Hahn in the counseling office.

If you are planning on taking someone to the Homecoming Dance that does NOT go to LHS, you need to pick up and fill out a GUEST FORM from the Student Services Office and Main office. These are due to Student Sevices on Thursday, September 20th.  Don't forget!!

Homecoming Dance Tickets and Class T-Shirts on sale during lunches starting Monday, September 17th. Monday thru Wednesday get them in the Attendance office; Thursday and Friday in the Cafeteria. Pre-sale tickets for the dance are $15, or $18 at the door. Gather your friends, don't miss out!

Sign up sheets for Dodgeball, Boys' Volleyball and Powder Puff are up on the class boards in the Language Arts Hall. Gather your friends, form some teams and sign up!! All events are after school during Homecoming week. If you have any questions, please see a student council member.

Attention Student Council Members, we have a General Council meeting next Tuesday, September 18th in the Forum at 7:45 a.m. 

Thespians will meet after school today in the theatre classroom at 3:45PM to discuss community outreach and Thespian Conference.


SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The boy's varsity tennis team defeated Golden 4-3. Their team record is 5-1. Great win guys.

Shout out to Varsity and Level 3 volleyball for their sweeps over Kennedy. Way to go Lions!

If you are submitting a photo from an outside photographer or friend - your photo must be submitted to Mrs. Fisher by this Friday, September 14! All other seniors, please plan to have your photo taken by our professional school photographer on Thursday, October 4. This photo session is entirely free. We want every senior to have a professional photo for their senior photo. Look for a note to be delivered to you with your appointment time for October 4. See Mrs. Fisher with any questions.

The deadline for completed applications is October 5th.

Students planning to participate in Speech and Debate this year, we have an informational meeting tomorrow night at 6:15pm in the forum. We will cover the season ahead, team goals and expectations, and you'll have a chance to meet our team and coaches. All new and returning team members must attend with their parents. See Coach Saliman if you have questions, and we'll see you there!

Key Club will meet tomorrow, Thursday,  September 13th in room 2620 at 7:50 a.m. We will be working on our Homecoming carnival booth. Feel free to bring your permission slip and check for membership dues to this meeting if you already know you want to join. All LHS students are welcome to come along and learn more about Key Club even if you did not attend our first meeting on August 30th.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Congratulations to Level 3 and Level 4 volleyball for their wins against Green Mountain last night. Way to represent Lions!

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Cross Country Team on their second place finish at the Elizabeth Cross Country Invitational. The squad, led by Christian Olsen who finished fourth, demonstrated excellent pack running with Henry Jackson, Cooper Brown, Matthew Sapakoff and Donny Marshall finishing 12, 13, 14 and 15, respectively. Grady Redding rounded out the team. In the Boys Open, Hans Romine was second overall.

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Cross Country Team on their fourth-place finish at the Elizabeth Cross Country Invitational. Three girls finished in the top ten including Grace Valentine, Hailey Lockhart, and Emily Caldwell. Eva deThomas, Grace Greenly, Emily Holzman, and Rachel Tobler rounded out the team. In the Girls Open, Morgan Kelly was seventh overall.

Wheat Ridge. The season record is 4-1.

Leo club is going to have their first meeting tomorrow, Tuesday. Please join our fun service-oriented club at 7:50 am in room 2605. Our club is looking for new members. All students are welcome to join!


SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Saturday the boys JV tennis team took first place in the Littleton JV Doubles Tournament. All 4 doubles teams took first place going undefeated, competing against Rampart, Highlands Ranch and Hinkley.

Congrats to LHS student Gillian Schwanitz and her Heritage gymnastics teammates for placing 3rd in their meet Saturday. Way to go Gillian!

Congratulations to the JV Boys Soccer team on their 3 to 1 victory over Douglas County on Saturday. Goals were scored by Will Grenawalt, Townes Uhl, and Jake Faulk, with assists from Owen Balbin and Aidan Flaugh.
