STUDENT BULLETIN:

Happy last day of February! What a fast-moving month!

The "Love Your Life Art Event" asked students from LHS to participate in their art show and fundraiser. It's a local mental health/suicide prevention organization. Our students were featured on CBS news, and even better, Emily Christian won a $500 first place art award! Wonderful job, LHS Art!

The deadline to submit Concurrent Enrollment Paperwork is tomorrow! Students must return the completed packet to Mr. Puchino in the Counseling Office.

Littleton High School is hosting our second annual USA Gap Year Fair this Saturday. A presentation will take place in the Theatre at 1:00 pm, and the fair will be in the South Gym from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. This is a free event!

Students, the link to register for Governor Polis’s keynote address at our International Day event is now live on the Announcements section of the LHS website. You must register to attend his address. The event will take place from 9:10 - 9:30 the morning of International Day, March 13th!

Attention, Student Council members, there is a General Council meeting next Tuesday, March 5th, in the Forum at 7:45 am. Please plan to attend. Also, there is an Exec Board meeting on Monday morning in room 2619 at 7:45 am. All Student Council Exec Members should plan to attend.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Great job to the 52 DECA students who competed at the DECA State Leadership Conference the last 3 days in Colorado Springs. Congratulations to Evan Brown, Taryn Burrow-Martin, Makayla Franklin, Eliska Martinez, Zach Rodriguez, and Amelia Sacco for qualifying in the top 10 and making state finals. And a big congratulations to Jacques Goffinet for being awarded 6th place in Hotel and Lodging Management, and Claire Fielder and Rory Stark for being awarded 2nd place in Hospitality Services. All 3 have qualified for DECA Internationals in Orlando, Florida, this April! Great job, LHS DECA!

Congratulations to your Unified Basketballers on their amazing play at the Tri-City tournament last night. Through solid teamwork and selfless play, your Lions were able to take down Heritage and Arapahoe and bring the City Champs title back to Littleton once again. Special shoutout to Patrick McFarland, Gracie Lengyel, and Zane Spellman for demonstrating great sportsmanship!

FebFest is here! The Second Annual LHS Booster Club FebFest event will take place tonight from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at the Broken Tee Golf Course. It will be a fun and social adults-only night out, featuring Casino Games, a Fajita Buffet, great Silent Auction items provided by the teams, and a 50/50 raffle and giveaways. Please come out and support your team and all of the LHS athletes! Tickets are available now for $40/person or $75/couple. Ticket prices are higher at the door, so order your tickets today by clicking here! Students, one last reminder, no one other than your parent or guardian is to deliver items to the high school for you. Services such as Uber Eats and Grub Hub will start to be refused at our offices and the drivers escorted out. These services are disruptive and potentially very unsafe. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

If you have signed up for Read Across America, please stop by Ms. Shew's office after school today to pick up your materials. Thank you!

Tomorrow, LHS will be hosting a blood drive. If you are 16 years old or older and would like to donate blood, please contact Mr. Hahn in the counseling office.
