Welcome back!

Happy belated Pi Day! Staff, please swing by the World Languages Lounge today to learn more about Pi.

Seniors who would like to audition to speak at graduation, please sign up soon at the front desk in the main office! Slots are filling quickly!

Please mark your calendar for the Trade & Tech Fair on Tuesday, March 19th, from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm in the Cafeteria & South Gym. Over 15 companies and community colleges will be represented, including Emily Griffith Technical College and Jobs Corps. The Trade & Tech fair is open to all students. Some summer work programs are available. See flyers around the school to view the full list of participants.

Get excited! There will be Jazz in the Lobby today after school!

STUDENT BULLETIN:

Please come celebrate LHS Studio Art students' work on display at the Depot Art Center in downtown Littleton now through March 17th. You are also invited to a reception on March 13th at the Depot from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.

We are excited for International Day at LHS tomorrow! If you signed up to attend Governor Polis’s keynote address, remember you need to be seated in the Theatre by 9:10 am. You are still able to sign-up if you would like to attend; find the information for International Day under the Announcements section of our LHS website. For all students, the day will begin as usual at 9:30 am. You will meet your Seminar teacher at your usual class spot. By tomorrow, your Seminar teacher will have a list of the sessions you have been assigned. All students have been assigned, and remember, attendance is required. We are looking forward to the learning that will take place at this incredible event!

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The STAR Club would like to invite you to join us for root beer floats, while learning a little about the history of the United States Military! Students who would like to attend should sign-up at the Attendance Office. STAR Club meets every Wednesday, at 3:45 pm, in the Team Room #1558.

Key Club will meet in room 2620 at 7:50 am on Thursday morning. Please come if you can. We will be planning our “x the text” project and handing out our new t-shirts!

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Your Littleton Women's Soccer Teams played on Friday against Denver South. Varsity won 2 - 0 with two goals by Lizzy Hernandez. JV won 1 - 0 with a goal by Emily Caldwell. L3 played Legend, and came up a little short 0 - 2, but Mackenzie Schwartz had an impressive 12 saves. Way to go, Women's Soccer!

National Honor Society members,a friendly reminder that we have a meeting tomorrow morning at 8:00 am in the Forum. See you then!

The Model United Nations Club will meet tomorrow at 8:00 am in Room 2609. All students who are interested in participating in the Saturday, April 20th, Model United Nations Conference hosted by Denver East and Denver Center for International Studies High Schools are encouraged to attend! No prior experience with Model United Nations is required, just an interest in learning about global affairs and leadership.

Come support Lion Track at the Stadium this Tuesday after school!

Any gymnast who would like to compete or get more information about competing on the LPS High School Gymnastics team for the Fall 2019 season should attend the New Gymnast information meeting. This meeting will introduce the head coach, what LPS Gymnastics is all about, and provide further information on April team tryouts. The meeting is Tuesday, March 19th, from 5:00 - 6:00 pm, at Heritage High School, in the 2nd floor lecture hall. See you there!
