Attention Seniors! If you have been deeply involved in community service during your high school years, have at least a 2.5 GPA and need additional money to pay for college or technical school, please stop by the Post Grad Center to get more information about the Columbine Memorial Scholarship. The deadline is Friday, March 29th...which is during Spring Break.

Attention ELD Students: Please be sure to return your SIGNED Permission Slips for the April 2nd Field Trip to the Colorado History Museum BEFORE Spring Break. You can return the forms to the ELD office, to Mr. Garner, Mrs. Elliott or Mrs. Pulai.

The Swim Proficiency test at LHS will be Wednesday, April 10th 8:30 a.m. sharp! Sign-up in the Counseling Office, space is limited.

April Teen Bus Passes are here to purchase. Get yours before Spring Break only $34.20


CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Members of our speech and debate team are competing today at the CHSAA state tournament, please wish them good luck from afar. Those students are: Arik McCubbinm Jack Rayner, Christian Watson, Gwen Fitzsimmons, Sarah Young, Maddie Engeman, Ally Procopio, Julia Valdez, Elianajoy Volin, Ben Greenly, Grace Greenly, Kenneth Huynh, and Kait Schultz


SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The Girls Ultimate Frisbee team, the Dandelions, started their season with a win against Arapahoe. The score was 5-4 with 4 assists from Dilara Ertunc. Kudos to Kiera Schreiber who had a saucy layout and to Cassie Banuelos who carried the team with amazing throws and catches.

Your Littleton Varsity Women's Soccer team had a great 2 to 1 victory against 5A Bear Creek yesterday, winning in double overtime. An upper 90 goal by Susie Puchino gave them the golden goal to end the game.

Littleton JV put on an amazing display of skill beating Bear Creek 10 to 0 and ending the game in the first half. Way to go JV.

Littleton C Team had a tough loss against Mullen but never gave up and worked hard the whole time.

The LHS JV lacrosse team opens its season today against Heritage at 4:30 PM on the LHS grass field. The LHS Varsity lacrosse team has a home game tonight at 8:00 PM against George Washington. Please come out and support your Lions!

For any girls interested in playing softball next fall, there will be a brief informational meeting on April 2nd at 3:35 p.m. in room 1329. We hope to see you there!

Seniors who would like to audition to speak at graduation, please sign up soon at the front desk in the main office! Slots are filling quickly!

Please mark your calendar for the Trade & Tech Fair on Tuesday, March 19th, from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm in the Cafeteria & South Gym. Over 15 companies and community colleges will be represented, including Emily Griffith Technical College and Jobs Corps. The Trade & Tech fair is open to all students. Some summer work programs are available. See flyers around the school to view the full list of participants.

Attention Sophomores and Juniors!
Students received a "Student Data Consent Form" in Seminar on March 6. These forms are related to the upcoming pre-administrative tasks for the PSAT10 & SAT tests. We had planned to collect these in Seminar, but the snow interrupted that plan! So, we are asking all sophomores and juniors to return these forms to the Counseling Office by Wednesday, March 20.

Spring Concerts featuring the LHS Music Department are this week. Tuesday is the Instrumental Music Spring Concert featuring the Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble and Symphonic Winds Concert Band. Wednesday is the Choir Department Spring Concert. Both concerts are at 7pm in the Theater and both concerts are FREE! See you there!

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

The Model UN Club will meet in Room 2609 at 8am this Tuesday. We will have registration information on the last MUN Conference of the year at Denver East/DCIS scheduled for Saturday, April 20th. Anyone interested in participating is welcome.

The S.T.A.R. (Students Taking Active Roles) Club would like to invite you to join us for Root Beer Floats and learn a little about the History of the United States’ Military!

Students who would like to attend should sign-up at the Attendance Office. STAR Club meets every Wednesday, at 3:45 p.m. in the Team Room #1558 located by the Athletic Entrance.

Attention Student Council members, there is a General Council meeting tomorrow at 7:45 a.m. in the forum. Please plan to attend.
