STUDENT BULLETIN

The Library will be closed ALL day during testing days next week; Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The Library will re-open with normal hours on Friday, April 12.

There will be an important Boys Soccer meeting for players only on Tuesday, April 9 at 3:40 pm in the Room 1335. This is for all boys interested in playing Soccer in the upcoming season in the Fall. Information will be given about camps, pre-season, and season activities.

Attention first generation college-bound Seniors. The application for the Merkle Scholarship is due by 11:59 pm this Friday, April 5th. If you have questions stop by Post Grad as soon as possible.

Come join us tonight for our MISCAST! fundraiser at 7PM in the theater. Come see MISCAST! A night of actors performing in roles in which they would NEVER be cast, and the results are hilarious. Tickets are on a "pay what you can" scale from 1 dollar on up.

Spring is here and that means BASEBALL!! Our LHS baseball team is in full swing and this Friday marks the HOME opener for our Colorado Rockies!! Let's have a good old fashioned spirit day and dress in your Rockies Attire on Friday and have some fun! You can win a $25.00 gift card by sending a picture of yourself in your Rockies gear to Ms. Prestel via email or stopping by the Social Studies office on Friday. Teachers and Staff this includes YOU too--lets celebrate spring with some school and state SPIRIT!

Congratulations to girls' golf team! Yesterday they came in first place in a Jeffco League tournament. The team was led by seniors Sydney Elder, Meg Pratt, and Meghan Thomas as well as sophomore Sarah Young and freshman Gwen FitzSimmons. Good job ladies and good luck with the rest of the season.

The S.T.A.R. (Students Taking Active Roles) Club is an open club to anyone who would like to attend. Students who would like to attend should sign-up at the Attendance Office. STAR Club meets every Wednesday, at 3:45 p.m. in the Team Room #1558 located by the Athletic Entrance.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Over break, our speech and debate team competed at the CHSAA state tournament. Taking home awards were Elianajoy Volin who placed 12th in poetry, Ally Procopio who placed 12th in informative speaking, and Maddie Engeman who placed 11th in informative. This was the most students we have had place in a very long time, and congrats to all who competed. Great job everyone!

There will be a Model UN Club meeting tomorrow morning at 8:00 am in Room 2609.
