Next week is Make-A-Wish week at LHS!! We have daily events planned so please check your lockers tomorrow for a daily events calendar. We have chosen to sponsor an 8-year-old boy named Ahmed. He lives in Windsor, Colorado is battling cancer, and wants to go on a Disney Cruise. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help grant his wish! We need YOUR help! On Monday, wear BLUE. This is Ahmed's favorite color! On Tuesday, bring in spare change for Make-It-Stop, and later drop by Chick-fil-a for dinner in Southglenn so that the proceeds go back to Ahmed! Wednesday come to the Student vs. Staff basketball game. Admission is $3, and it starts at 5:30! Thursday we have the Penny Wars kick-off, so bring your pennies! Friday is Disney day! Dress in your favorite Disney character and stop by the cafe during lunch to lip sync your favorite Disney tunes!! All week long we will be selling wristbands and stars for $3 in the cafe. Sign-up sheets for the basketball game will be on the Student Council boards in the Language Arts Hallway. Get in the spirit and let's make Ahmed's wish come true!
