CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
MOCK TRIAL - meets Monday after school in room 2608.

Our speech and debate team competes tomorrow at the Cherry Creek Winter Wonder. This is a huge tournament, with more than 37 schools and 700 students competing, but we plan to come out on top. And team members, don't forget that we have a team meeting in the speech room after school today.

The Holiday Season is upon us, and what does that mean for those of us who want to alleviate a little stress? The UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATER CONTEST!! This wonderful tradition is in its 5th year and getting bigger and bigger each year!! On Tuesday, December 17th, wear an UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATER TO SCHOOL, get your picture taken in the front lobby during the break between the finals OR after the last final, and you could win a $30 Amazon Gift Card!!! Let's get in the school and holiday spirit!! This is open to EVERYONE IN THE SCHOOL--students, teachers, admin, custodians....all can participate!!

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Please come out to cheer on your LPS Hockey team hockey this Saturday night in a big game against Regis at 6:30 pm at South Suburban.

The wrestling team is holding its annual Leo Rex Invitational Wrestling Tournament on January 4th, 2020. We are looking for student volunteers to help with the day. The shifts would be from 8:30-12:30 and from 12:30-finish . All volunteers would have access to the hospitality room and would be fed based on their shift. We would also sign off on NHS and CAS community service hours. If anyone is interested, a sign-up sheet will be outside the 1618 office. For further information, you can contact Mr. Canono in the 1618 office.

Sources of Strength - We will be having our last meeting of the semester and a holiday party after school today! Join us for hot cocoa, cookies, and fun!

Come cheer on the Lady Lionfish as they swim against Arvada West and Green Mountain this afternoon at 4:30 pm in the pool!

Congratulations to our Littleton Lionettes on an amazing competition! We are so proud of you and your accomplishments this season. Thank you especially to our captains and seniors for a memorable finishing season. We look forward to watching you at events for the rest of the year!!

Congratulations to your "Pride of Littleton" Marching Band who placed First Overall in last weekend's Festival of Lights Parade among 14 competing bands in Colorado Springs!

Today the cafeteria is having the Holiday Turkey meal with all the fixings mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie.

The Winter Instrumental Music Concert is TONIGHT!! This is our final concert of the year, and it will feature all of our large Instrumental Ensembles performing many of your Holiday favorites, including a mass group performance of Carol of the Bells. The concert begins at 7:00 pm tonight in the Theater. Admission is FREE! You don't want to miss this one!

A reminder to sophomores who are interested in the IB diploma program or in taking IB Classes. There will be a lunch meeting today during both A and B lunches in the forum. IB teachers and students will be presenting and an overview of IB and letting you know what you need to know for the next two years. Pizza will be served.
