CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to all Middle-Level FBLA members who competed at the March 4, 2020, Middle-Level FBLA State Leadership Conference. Everyone worked hard, produced fantastic projects and presentations! The following students finished in the top 3 of their events, and the two first place finishes qualified to compete at the National FBLA conference in Salt Lake City, UT, this June. 1st Place Evan Hallauer-National Qualifier- Critical Thinking, 1st Place Jake Good-National Qualifier -Multi-Media & Website Design, 2nd Place Brevyn Wethington- Digital Citizenship.

ACADEMICS:
Attention Seniors: Jostens will be here next Tuesday, March 10th from, 11:30 am - 2:00 pm to deliver your graduation announcements and mugs!

STEM Students- we will be having a guest speaker pizza lunch during A and B lunch next Tuesday in the forum with two amazing environmental consultants. Please see your email or Mrs. Bartlett-Mogg to sign up.

March 18 & 19-Students, your families received an email last night from our superintendent related to March 19th. Like many metro-area school districts, Littleton Public Schools has cancelled classes for all students on Thursday, March 19th. Students involved in activities and athletics should communicate with your sponsors and/or coaches regarding meetings, practices and competitions on March 19th.

Because of this cancellation, Littleton High School will adjust our purple/gold schedule for that week.  Wednesday, March 18 will now be a gold/odd day.  Please take out your planners or phones and march March 18 as a gold/odd day.  
Students with classes outside of our building who may have conflicts should talk with their teachers.  If issues arise, students should see Mrs. Benton.

Juniors, if you have not signed up for your junior meeting, please do so immediately. The sign-up link was sent again to your email yesterday afternoon. There are a few meeting times still available for today during 4th, 6th, and 8th. If you have questions or need help, please go to the Post Grad Center located in the Counseling office.

CONGRATULATIONS:
On Friday and Saturday, our speech and debate team competed at their state qualifying tournament at Thomas Jefferson High School. Coach Saliman and Coach De La Torre couldn't be more proud of this team, and everyone's hard work paid off and then some. We had 25 students compete, and 12 qualify for state. Those qualifiers are: Rebecca Zickerman - Oratory, Elianajoy Volin - Poetry, Virginia Frau - Program of Oral Inter, Maddie Engeman - Informative, Maggie Higgins and KC Lynch - Duo, Addie Bouck & Ivy Secrest - Public Forum Debate, Nick Hopper - Lincoln Douglas Debate, Hayley Hamilton - Lincoln Douglas Debate, and Ally Procopio and Kate Lurie were chosen to compete in Congressional Debate. Lane Greenly and Grady Redding were also named alternates to state in their events. Great job to the entire team, and congratulations to those advancing to state!

For anyone interested in playing baseball this spring, just a reminder that we will have tryouts today, March 2nd, and tomorrow, March 3rd. Tryouts will start at 3:45 pm and will go until 6:00 pm at the Littleton High School baseball field. Hope to see you out there!

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The National Honor Society would like to thank you for the wonderful turn-out in support of our blood drive last week. We were able to donate 44 units of blood during our 2-day drive! Way to go, Lions.

Boy's Frisbee practice is cancelled due to the weather. We'll have practice this Wednesday and Thursday, at Goddard Middle School from 4-6 pm.

Student Council members, there is a General Student Council meeting tomorrow, March 3rd, at 7:45 a.m. in the forum.
