GOOD MORNING LHS:

CONGRATULATIONS:
Last Saturday, December 5th, The LHS Speech & Debate team competed at the virtual Chatfield Chill. The team performed phenomenally, and we took home a lot of trophies. (okay, they'll be shipped to us)
Kate Lurie took 2nd in LD Debate
Lane Greenly took 4th in Poetry
Eliana Joy Volin took 3rd in Poetry
Bella Houck took 2nd in Drama
Grady Redding took 5th in Informative Speaking
And overall, the team placed 3rd for team sweeps.
We also had a large number of students earning Superior and Outstanding mentions.
This Saturday, the 12th, the team looks to keep their hot streak going as we compete at the Winter Wonder tournament from Cherry Creek High School.

Colorado Gives Day is today, December 8th. We hope you'll donate to LHS this day to enable our Post Grad department to provide transportation for local college campus visits to students in need so they will continue their education after high school.
