Attention anyone interested in playing girls basketball this summer and during the 2021-22 school year. We will begin our offseason program on Monday, May 3rd. We will be in the fitness center on Monday and Thursday from 3:45-4:30 and have an open gym on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. These workouts will offer the opportunity to get stronger and work on your skills as we head towards next season. Hope to see you there.

Attention all dancers and cheerleaders! The Lionettes (Poms team) will have tryouts for next year's team on May 4 & 5 at 4:15 PM in the South Gym. Athletes will need a valid physical and a brief letter of reference from a teacher. Email Coach Ockner at rockner@lps.k12.co.us with any questions!

National Honor Society- our final meeting and certificate celebration will be Tuesday, May 4th at 8 am in the Forum! All members need to attend.

The LHS Performing Arts Department proudly presents this year's musical, 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee'! This hilarious and fast paced show will be an unforgettable experience. The musical runs May 4-8 on the Mane Stage. Tickets are $10 for students and can ONLY be purchased online. You will not be able to buy at the door. A link to purchase tickets can be found on the LHS web page through ENCORE!. There is a limited capacity, so get your tickets before we sell out! Hope to see you there!

FCCLA/Culinary Club will have the last meeting of the year on Thursday at 7:30 am. Please join us for the end of the year celebration. Members can sign up to bring something "homemade", in Google Classroom. Feel free to bring a friend!

Attention seniors, all submissions need to be emailed to Mrs. Watkins and Mr. Prince by today, April 30th. This is a great opportunity to contribute to our graduation ceremonies, so please record those speeches or songs and send them in. Time is running out!

Students, next Friday, May 7th, is National School Lunch Superhero Day. Our Kitchen staff works hard every year, and this year they have taken every extra step to ensure our students are fed. You can show your appreciation by making a card or poster board for the lunch staff. You can drop it off at the main office by May 6th.

Attention graduating Seniors! At today's Skilled Trades & Tech Fair, we have three construction companies coming with job openings. They are looking for graduating Seniors who do not plan to attend college next fall, and who want to enter the workforce right away. These are good-paying jobs in the construction industry that may lead to a long-term career! The Fair is during both lunch periods outdoors on the front lawn area. Please find Mrs. Reimers or Mrs. Bartlett-Mogg at the fair, and we'll introduce you to the hiring managers.

CONGRATULATIONS:
DECA would like to congratulate Nick Hopper, who qualified for the final round of competition at DECA internationals this week. He is competing with the top 20 students in the nation in Food Marketing, so wish him good luck. We will find out if he makes the top 10 on Friday! Great job, Nick; you have made DECA and LHS proud!

We will meet in Room #1329 to discuss our upcoming summer basketball opportunities, such as open gyms, team camps, etc. This meeting will be essential for all returning players as well as any other players considering playing basketball next season.

CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to our LHS Lions Unified Bowling Team! We placed 2nd in Regionals last Friday and will be attending the CHSAA State Championships on Friday, 4/30. We are one of only 9 schools in the finals! Kudos to your athletes and partners

Littleton's vaccination clinic was a huge success yesterday, administering 340 vaccines to Littleton High School students and their family members! The staff who volunteered at the clinic want to recognize Ms. Heather Bartlettmogg, our fearless STEM coordinator, for all her work to make yesterday's clinic so successful - thank you, Heather! Littleton students who received their first shot yesterday, please double-check that you have registered for the second shot in May.
