Do you like arguing? What about speaking your mind? Maybe you're more into performing. If you're interested, our speech and debate team is hosting an information session on Wednesday, the 15th, at 7 pm in the forum. All new and returning team members should plan to attend with their families. We will go over the season ahead, the team, and all of the events we offer. For more information, please see Coach Saliman in room 1102, or check out our website on the LHS activity page.

Lip Sync Battle-Get ready to battle! The Student Council is hosting a Lip Sync Battle. Auditions will be held next Thursday, September 16, and Friday, September 17, after school in the choir room. Sign-ups are on the student council boards in the Language Arts hallway. You will perform at the Homecoming Pep Rally, and the winner will perform at Lions Follies. So grab a group of friends and select a 90-second song that is school appropriate.

Next week, Key Club will be collecting personal hygiene products for Integrated Family and Community Services in Englewood. All the products we collect will be directly distributed to families in our community at the LHS Community Resource Fair on September 18th.
