There will be a season preview meeting for the Boy's Swim & Dive Team on January 25th in the Forum from 6-7:30 PM. If you are planning on joining the team, please come to this meeting. You will get to meet your coaches and order apparel for the season. Go Lions!

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Yarn It! Club in the library today, January 21st at 3:35 pm after school. Bring your Yarn and supplies, but if you're a first-time crafter, we've got you covered!

Our speech and debate team competes tomorrow, virtually, at the first annual Falcon Fiesta through Highlands Ranch High School. And speech and debate team members, we will NOT have a meeting today. So, speakers, make sure coach Saliman has your speech, and debaters, make sure to check in with coaches tomorrow by 8:00 am, either through the google meet or with an email.

Leo Club is meeting on Monday, January 24th, in room 2605 at 8:00 am to plan our volunteering events. New members are always welcome.

STUDENT BULLETIN:
Final Days to Purchase a Yearbook! The deadline to pre-order an LHS Yearbook and receive a $5 discount is January 24th. We will have a small number of books for sale at the end of the year, but they will be sold first-come-first-serve and will sell out. We cannot guarantee enough for everyone- so, to reserve your copy, be sure to pre-order by the 24th. You can order online from the LHS website or with cash or check at the bookkeeper's window. See Ms. Fisher with any questions.

BLOG ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Are you beginning your closet cleanout for the new year? Student Council is partnering with Urban Peak, a homeless shelter for teens in Denver, for a coat drive. It will begin on January 10th and end on January 31st. Please bring in any coats, beanie hats, blankets, or warm items and place them in the box by attendance.

Athletic Registration for Spring Sports is now open. Go to the Athletic website to register at littletonlions.net. Boys Swim will start on Monday, February 21, and the rest of the Spring Sports will start on Monday, February 28. Students must be registered and cleared in order to participate.


Littleton High School Girls Tennis is re-opened and closes soon! Find items that we've picked out specifically for our team. There is also spiritwear available for your family and friends.

CONGRATULATIONS:
On Saturday, our speech and debate team competed at the virtual Lowell Sharp Invitational Tournament through JeffCo schools. Leading the way were the speakers! Bella Houck placed 1st in Drama, Virginia Frau placed 4th in Humor, Andrew Macedo placed 6th in Informative Speaking, Catherine May placed 6th in Oratory, Audrey Drakos placed 4th in Oratory, Elianajoy Volin placed 2nd in Poetry, and Lane Greenly placed 1st in Poetry. Great job to the entire speech and debate team!
