Come cheer our Unified Lions Basketball Team to victory in the Annual March Madness Tournament at Chatfield High School. Our lions head into the tournament undefeated. Come out Saturday, Feb 26th at 9:30, 11:00, and 11:30.

We'll begin in Coach Russell's classroom--1744 in the Language Arts hall at 3:35 pm to take care of some business, and then we'll head to the locker rooms to meet the trainer and dress out. Bring your athletics clearance card and all of your gear so we can head out to the courts and play!
CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
This weekend, our speech and debate team competes at our state qualifying tournament at George Washington High School. Interp and Oratory compete this afternoon and evening, while Debate and Informative compete tomorrow. Please wish the team the best. Team members, remember that we will not have a meeting today, as many of us will be at state quals. Go get 'em, Lions!
Coffee and Calculus Club is meeting on Monday, February 28th, in room 1604 at 7:45 to start the week with some coffee, donuts, and fun problems. New members are always welcome, and we are looking forward to seeing you all there!
First practice for Ultimate Frisbee Club will be on Monday from 4-6 at Goddard Middle School! All students are welcome to play on Monday as well as next Tuesday and Thursday. We are forming both a girls' and a boys' (or "open") team this spring. Sunday practices at LHS on March 6 and 13 are for team members and kids busy on weekdays and just want to play for fun!

Attention Juniors & Seniors! Admissions reps from both Metro State and Colorado Mesa will be here today to answer your questions and help you with your application and financial aid. Metro is at 1:30, and Mesa is at 2:00 in Post Grad. If you need a pass from class, stop by Post Grad beforehand.

Congratulations to our Varsity Lions girls basketball team for securing an all important 1st round playoff bye this week. The Lions earned the 16th seed overall and will host a HOME 2nd round playoff game this Friday night. We need everyone to pack the den and bring a White Out on Friday night as we look to move on to the Sweet 16!

A huge shout out to the Lions Community for the incredibly successful blood drive last week! The Vitalant Blood Center had a goal of 32 viable donations from our drive---we blew that goal away and ended with 52 donations which included 5 Double Red cell donations! Way to give back to our community in a truly life-saving way, Lions!
