Congrats to the Boys and Girls Track Team who competed yesterday at the Jeffco Qualifier Meet!

Attention Seniors: Are you undecided about what you are going to do next year? Are you still thinking about applying to college? It's not too late! Representatives from Arapahoe Community College and Metropolitan State University will be available in the front lobby during lunches on Tuesday. They will be able to help you apply on the spot.

SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The LHS Boys Lacrosse team takes on Heritage Friday at 5 PM. The game will be played at Euclid Middle School. Come on out and cheer the Lions on to victory over Heritage! And after supporting Boys Lacrosse vs. Heritage, come back to the LPS Stadium to support Lions Girls Soccer vs. Arapahoe High School, 7 pm. Admission is $5.

If you are interested in trying out for the 2022-23 Lionettes pom squad, there will be two informational sessions on Tuesday, April 4th. Stop by at 7:45 AM in Rm. 1329 or come in the evening at 5:30 PM in the Forum. Both sessions will cover the same information, so pick the one that best fits your schedule. If you have questions, please contact Coach DeAnna Koepke.

New or gently used shoes of all types and sizes are accepted and will help families in need all around the world!. We will have collection boxes in the front lobby and counseling offices until tomorrow, April 1st. Together we can make a difference one shoe at a time!

On average there are over forty car crashes every day in Colorado because of distracted driving! Key Club is sponsoring an event to raise awareness of distracted driving today. Check out the information in the main entrance way and add your thumbprint to the banner to pledge to stay focused while driving!

CONGRATULATIONS:
Last Friday and Saturday was the CHSAA State Speech and Debate Tournament. Six LHS students competed, and three advanced to finals. Taking home top honors at the tournament were Senior Eliana joy Volin, who placed 6th in Poetry, Senior Lane Greenly, who placed 4th in Poetry, and Bella Houck, who placed 2nd in Drama. Congratulations, Lions!
