CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to the LPS boys C Team and JV volleyball teams who won their matches against Cherry Creek last night. Varsity played a great match but lost in 3 games. Two more chances to see the boys play this week:
April 22nd (Friday), LPS boys volleyball teams play at Valor High School, with varsity playing first at 4:30 PM and JV after playing at 6 PM. After we beat Valor at home last week, Valor will be looking for revenge. This is a big game, so come cheer on the team!
April 23rd (Saturday), come watch the team take on Bear Creek at Arapahoe High School! JV and C Team playing at 10 AM (simultaneously using both AHS gyms), and varsity playing after at 11 AM.

ACADEMICS:
Seniors!When you've made your decision about your plans for next year, complete the Google Form. You can access the form on the announcements. This is important for several reasons: it lets us know where to send your final transcript, it lets us know what to list in the graduation program and you'll get your photo on our bulletin boards! Do it as soon as you know your plans.

Students still interested in Concurrent Enrollment classes at ACC for next fall, please make sure you schedule an appointment with your counselor to be added to the interest inventory. The deadline to request classes for next fall at ACC is Monday, May 2nd.

Girls Tennis Senior Night! Come celebrate our Seniors and cheer on our Lions at our home match on Tuesday, April 26, at LHS versus South High School.

Those interested in playing boys' golf next fall, there will be a brief meeting on Wednesday, April 27, in room 1610. Information about tryouts and the upcoming season will be given. See you there.

CLUB & ACTIVITY ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Speech and debate team members, we have a very brief meeting in the speech room today after school. All members must attend.

Students interested in finding out more about being part of the LHS Color Guard Team for the 2022 Fall season should plan on attending our Spring Clinics on Tuesday & Wednesday, April 26 & 27, from 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm in the South Gym. Parking
We are just a few weeks away from the end of the year and wanted to give one last parking reminder! Students - you are allowed to park in the following areas: our front parking lot, our tech lot, and our forum and cafeteria lots, and the two rows of parking closest to the stadium in the athletic parking lot. Please know that all other parking spaces in the athletic lot are for staff members. The doors to the Athletic Entrance will be unlocked and monitored from 8:15am - 8:30am. You will need to use the front door to access the building at all other times of the day. This is to keep you safe.

CONGRATULATIONS:
Congratulations to FBLA members that competed this week at our annual state conference at the Gaylord Rockies. We had 6 teams make it to finals with 3 of them qualifying for our national conference this June in Chicago. Congratulations to Grady Redding, Jay Landers, Elle Berendt, Liam Burnham, Caitlyn Castellion, and Sam Wells.

The girl's tennis team demolished their opponents at Conifer last night.
Varsity singles players Luci Brendlinger, Sophie Lisle, Taryn Fortna, and Varsity doubles players Mackenzie Rodriguez, Eden Tripp, Vy Phan, Makenna Lee, Angelina Holm, Sasha Maxwell, Rose Renner, and Catherine May all came home with strong victories with Doubles 3 team Angelina Holm and Sasha Maxwell showing strength and perseverance to win in a tie breaker. Some shout-outs go to Strong back-court play by Mackenzie Rodriguez and strong net play by Eden Tripp, and several aces served by Taryn Fortna and Vy Phan. JV players bringing home victories for the Lions were Lauren Tesar, Zora Young, Anna Jane Geddes, and Dakota Loomis. The whole team was on fire last night! Way to go, Lions!

CONGRATULATIONS:
FCCLA State Conference Winners from this past weekend: Kathryn Braddock earned a Gold Medal in the Children's Literature event of Educator Rising, and Adisa Smajic earned a Silver Medal in the FCCLA Early Childhood Education Event.

The Lions Boys Lacrosse team got its first win of the year on Tuesday! LHS topped Palmer HS by a score of 10-6. The Lions were led to victory by seniors Porter Small and Cal Cherry. Porter led the defense with 7 ground balls, and Cal steadied the offense and chipped in with a goal and an assist. Next, the Lions face Ponderosa HS on Thursday at 5 PM on the LHS turf. Come out and cheer them on!

The Boys Swim & Dive Team had their final home meet of the season on Tuesday, putting up a great fight against Ralston Valley. There were many great swims and time drops. In addition to swimming and diving well, the Seniors were celebrated for their careers here at LHS. The Boy's Team is primed for an incredible end of season and hope to add more State Qualifiers in the coming weeks.

Your Littleton boys’ ultimate team has combined with Arapahoe this season and are currently ranked 4th in the state. They will play their final regular-season game against Denver East under the lights tomorrow/today. The game starts at 7:30 on the LHS turf field. Come check out ultimate!

CONGRATULATIONS:

Congrats to the Boys and Girls Track Teams, who competed against a very deep and talented 5A pool of teams at this past weekend's Lions Classic Track Invitational. Girls finished 6th and Boys 7th Place out of 21 Schools!

Top Performers were: Howie Marshall with a 3rd Place in the 400m Dash and Pole Vault and Anchored the 4x400m Relay team to a 2nd Place Finish! On the Girl's side, Dalana Jakovljevic who brought home a 4th and 3rd place finish in Shot and Discus, respectively. Reese Gosling and Sydney Babcock both set Huge PR's in their events as well!


Congratulations to the JV boys LPS volleyball team, who beat Eagle Crest last Friday in 3 games. Rough night for varsity, who lost in 3.
