Club Announcements
There is a very important student council general council meeting today in the Forum at 2:20.

Academic Announcements
The 2009-2010 yearbook staff has a meeting today after school in room 140.

ACT testing for juniors is coming. This Wednesday, April 22nd, juniors need to be here at regular school time for ACT testing. Classes start at 11:15 that day for freshmen, sophomores and seniors. The day will be an odd day.

All student interested in PSEO – CO enrollment with college while in High School – Dead line extended!!!!!! The deadline has been extended to April 27th at 3:00pm!!!! That gives you an extra week to fill out your application and see Ms. Geyer or your counselor. Take advantage of a great opportunity!!!!

SENIORS>>>
The First Bank of Littleton Scholarship application is available in the Post Grad Center. This scholarship requires a 3.0 gpa and you must be attending a Colorado institution. Financial need will be considered. One LHS Senior will receive $1250.00 and deadline for submission is May 11th. See Mrs. Allen for more information.

Special Events
Spring pep assembly this Friday!

Prom tickets are on sale now for $30.00. You may purchase them with the bookkeeper, before or after school and during lunch only. LHS Seniors are free and you do not need a ticket. All students must have student ID to enter the Prom. See you at the DAM on Saturday, April 25th!

If you are planning on bringing a guest from another school to prom, a guest form needs to be completed with a signature from the other school’s administrator. Pick them up in the main office. Don’t wait until the last minute.

Other Announcements
If you are 14 and over and are looking for a summer job – please plan on attending a meeting April 23rd at 2:30 pm! A/D Works will be here! Please bring your ID and Social Security Card and if applicable your IEP or TANF Qualification. For additional information, please see your counselor!!!!

Sports
Congratulations to the LHS lion’s varsity baseball team for their victory over league rival Rangeview on Wednesday. The team recorded the tough fought win by a score of 9-7. The 8-5 lions were led offensively by Isiah Cole who went 3 for 3 at the plate, hitting a single double and a 2 run homerun in the 3rd inning. Jake Brantley also went 2 for 4 hitting a 2 run homerun in the 6th inning. Kevin Farley tallied the win on the mound pitching 6 innings with 3 strikeouts. Kevin Holland got the save for the lions. David Brewster turned in a very solid defensive outing behind the plate.
