Club Announcements
Do you like bees, trees, water, and leaves? Do you like to eat? Then you should come to GREEN CLUB!!!! We are meeting on today at 2:30 in Rm 132E. We’ll be discussing preparations for Earth Day AND we’ll have snacks. Of course we’ll be recycling too. So be a good Earth citizen and show up.

The LHS Ultimate Frisbee team plays Heritage today at 3:30. Meet in the main lobby at 3:00 to carpool to writers vista. Everyone needs to visit upa.org, become a member and bring paperwork and a white T-shirt to Ms. Rosenberg by next Monday’s practice at the latest.

Attention FBLA members: meeting this Thursday, April 9, 2009 @ 2:25 pm in Room 124. Come and hear about an upcoming social activity and pick up an officer application for next year if you would like to be a part of the planning team.


Academic Announcments
Juniors… if you took the practice ACT during CSAP week please pick up your scored results in the counseling office this week.

Sophomores and juniors interested in the military service academies (West Point, The Naval Academy, The US Air Force Academy, Merchant Marine Academy and Coast Guard Academy) there will be an informational session on Saturday, April 25th at Hinkley High School. For details see Mrs. Allen in Post Grad.

Need help in math or science? Free tutoring available from Lockheed Martin employees. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 6:00 to 7:30, room 116 (use the Forum entrance).


Special Events
The IB Art Show reception is tonight in the theater lobby from 4:30-6:30. Please come and honor the five seniors who are completing their IB art exam today or take a look at the show Thursday or Friday.

Your LHS 2009 Prom will be "ART IN THE CITY" held at the Denver Art Museum! Juniors and seniors, if you did not receive an invitation on your locker, please see Lori in the front office for your invitation. Also, if there was an invitation placed on your locker by mistake, please turn in to the front office. Thank you. Tickets will go on sale next Monday!

If you are planning on bringing a guest from another school to prom, a guest form needs to be completed with a signature from the other school’s administrator. Pick them up in the main office. Don’t wait until the last minute.
