Hey Seniors! The Senior Class student council needs ambassadors and a PR person. If you’re interested, interviews will be held this Thursday, Aug. 27 in room 132E after school.
FCCLA’s first meeting of the year will be this Thursday, after school, in room 120. If you like to eat food, meet new people and make a difference in our community, then come and see what we are about.
Sports Announcements:
Attention Girl Soccer Players!!! Any girls wishing to play soccer for LHS in the Spring should attend a short meeting on Thursday, August 27th at 2.20pm in room 133E (Science Hall). You will be able to attend this meeting and easily make it to your sports practices on time! If you cannot attend at this time, please see coach Banfield ASAP.
Would you like to be a part of a winning team? The boys and girls cross country team is looking for a manager. Please see coach Scheibel in room 116 or come to the track after school to learn more about helping a winning team!
Any boys interested in basketball and not participating in fall sports should come to preseason practices on Wednesday nights from 7pm to 8:30pm beginning on Sept. 2.

Anyone interested in being a fire fighter? South Metro Fire Rescue will hold an open house September 2nd for students who would like to join their Explorer Post.

Attention Seniors: The senior photo deadline is quickly approaching. Photos are due Friday, September 18. If you were unable to get a photo taken this summer, you can sign up for a photo sitting outside of room 140. You must sign up by Friday, August 28 and photos will be taken after school on Monday, August 31. The cost is $20. See Mrs. Smith with questions.
