All School Bulletin:
For the 2009-10 school year, students may not be in the lobby while classes are in session.
During non-academic periods, students are expected to be in the cafeteria or outside. You may only be in the library if you are accomplishing homework, studying, or conducting research. If caught loitering, you will be asked to leave.
Dress code includes:
· Transparent or revealing clothing is Inappropriate.
· No midriffs showing
· Hazardous apparel or jewelry is not permitted
· Shirts/tops for girls must have 2 straps
· No tank tops or sleeveless shirts for boys
· No gang type clothing
· Students MAY NOT sag their pants
· Clothing that is offensive, promotes alcohol or drugs are not allowed

Sports Announcements:
Attention Girl Soccer Players!!!
Any girls wishing to play soccer for LHS in the Spring
should attend a short meeting on Thursday, August 27th
at 2.20pm in room 133E (Science Hall).
You will be able to attend this meeting and easily make it to your sports practices on time!
If you cannot attend at this time, please see coach Banfield asap.

Welcome back LHS! FBLA will hold it's first meeting of the school year this Thursday, August 27, 2009 at 2:20 pm in room 124. Come and meet the officers and learn about some of the great activities that we have planned for you! FBLA is open to all students grades 9 through 12. Come join us for popsicles! See you then!

If you had your picture taken last week and did not receive your ID, please check with your Language Arts teacher or with Student Services.
Attention Seniors: The senior photo deadline is quickly approaching. Photos are due Friday, September 18. If you were unable to get a photo taken this summer, you can sign up for a photo sitting outside of room 140. You must sign up by Friday, August 28 and photos will be taken after school on Monday, August 31. The cost is $20. See Mrs. Smith with questions.
