Student Recognition & Congratulations:

The lady lions defeated the Douglas County Huskies 3 sets to 1 last night. Laura Whalen led the offense with 14 kills; while Alex Deines had 32 assists. Hannah Vadakin and Christina Simms both had four aces a piece.

Come see the Lions in action next Tuesday at home against Thunderidge. Help cheer on the girls as we recognize Breast Cancer awareness month.

YOU CAN SIGN UP TO ATTEND THESE MEETINGS THROUGH THE VISIT SCHEDULE ON YOUR NAVIANCE ACCOUNT. SEE MRS. ALLEN IN POST GRAD IF YOU NEED A PASS. DON’T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND FACE TIME WITH THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THE DECISIONS.

There will be a free college essay workshop tomorrow morning in the library from 9 am to noon sponsored by the Post Grad Center. If you are interested in attending and have not already signed up… please see Mrs. Allen in Post Grad.

Attention all Juniors: There's still time to register for the PSAT in the Counseling Office. Cost is $20.00, cash or check made to LHS. Test date is Wed., Oct. 14 beginning at 7:30 am.

Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors – is your GPA 3.5 or higher? If so, you might have an Academic Award waiting for you to pick up in the main office.
